“Family meal”
Reviewed August 16, 2012 via mobile

We had 7 for dinner here and food was ok. A little unprofessional with presentation but fish was quite fresh. Recommend early booking to get table outside - great views of beach &bay. Service was good and staff attentive & vigilant....

“A Concha/Paraiso”
Reviewed August 3, 2012

We ate at the Paraiso part of this restaurant which is situated on the beach, has to be the best location for a restaurant. Food good, service very good, wonderful ambience about the place. Two sittings 7pm and 9 pm, if you are eating outside recommend the earlier one as can get a bit chilly after the sun has disappeared.

“Nice Restaurant with great views”
Reviewed July 12, 2012

My wife and I ate here in July 2012. It is one of the more pricier eateries in Luz but the food was nice, tasty and a good sized portion. We have the covers of bread, olives and cheese to start. Bread and olives were nice as expected but the cheese was dairylea type in small sachets. I would not recommned you order this as a cover.

My wife had the mixed meat kebab which are large chunks of pork and beef on a skewer which drip over the rice and she enjoyed this. I had the pepper steak which was a fillet with a peppercorn sauce. It was enjoyable but not the best steak in Luz. The wine was nice but essentially we paid €47 for 2 mains and a bottle of wine. The flavours were all good and its more upmarket than most restaurants in Luz and the promenade in the best location to have a meal. If you can get on the terrace, is a wonderful view and a great place to have food and when add that into the equation the price does not seem expensive. Is a nice treat, the staff are very attentive and the place is always busy and you can be queuing, which says a lot. They get a lot of repeat custom and I would certainly recommend you treat yourself and eat here.
