Description: Our restaurant "Tarsanas" which means "Boat building area", is a family run business, which started back in 1979 from grand-dad Yiannis. Maybe the oldest restaurant in Kokkari, it combines traditional Greek and Italian cuizine in a unique way, which will satisfy all your gastronomical preferences. With fresh ingredients of Samos, like our olive oil and vegetables from our garden, Moshato wine from our vineyard, we create plates that honor our Greek tradition.

Most of rhe restaaurants in Pythagorion front the harbour but this one is at the end by the beach. Really nice setting you can even sit atr tables on the beach. Good food and usually good service. We had starters (Feta salad, Zucchini), mains (Sifado, Lamb special), sweets (baclava), aperitifs, etc for €43. They forgot to bring my sweet but we forgave them that for a good experience. SO we can recommend it if you want something different to sitting in the 20 odd bars and restaurants along the quay.
They also do rooms.

fridendly, excellent vaule and on the sea front, it is a little tucked away, so make sure you have a good look for it.

Just steps away from the hustle and bustle of the port,Tarsanas Taverna, situated right on the beach, offers a more quiet setting. The owner, Yorgos (George) is very welcoming and friendly.
We asked for a regional wine, Muscat, and he brought us a special glass of reserve. We had a delicious dinner. We were lured there by the live music--acoustic Greek taverna music, two bazoukis and a guitarist. Recommended.
