We paid54 euros for basic quality food for 2 adults and a 4 year old.i feel they are taking advantage that they have very little competition within walking distance. My advice would be eat elsewhere!

We ate at this restaurant twice during a recent 2 week stay in the area. Although it is probably not one of the better greek tavernas we found the food adequate. It's big advntage is its easy walking distance from a lot of holiday accommodation in a quite isolated area. Portions sizes were fine & the menu choice about typical for a Greek Taverna. I had Chicken a la Creme one night & it was great. The bread (2 types - toasted with olive oil, garlic & salt) was delicious & sufficient to replace a starter for the less greedy. The meals were no more salty than any of the other half dozen or so tavernas we tried in the area. The owner was friendly, had very interesting books about Kefalonia written in both Greek & English for visitors to read while they waited for their meals. She always offers a free nightcap. One night it was a large glass of Bailey's but without ice!

Using the traditional approach of choosing a restaurant because it already had a number of tables taken, we entered this taverna expecting a good meal on the first night of our holiday. How wrong we were.

The owner explained that the delay was caused by everyone wanting an evening meal at the same time – that’s why restaurants open in the evening. It became apparent that the main course choices for another table had been lost as they were given menus for a second time.

We waited nearly an hour for a speciality lamb dish (grey lamb immersed in fat), stuffed baked peppers (not bad) and spag bol for the kids. In spite of their hunger neither finished it due to extreme saltiness.
