We travelled to this lovely naturist hotel in May. It was everything we hoped for and more. It is set in a beautiful location within reasonable walking distance of a beach. We tended to stay at the hotel as the gardens and the lawn surrounding the pool were lovely and well cared for. Our room was basic but clean and with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also basic but clean with a good shower.. Our balcony had a sea view and was surrounded by Bouganvillia and Honeysuckle. The pool was warm and there were plenty of sunbeds.
Food was excellent. At lunchtime we ate at the pool bar and the evening meals were served outside and equally good. The hotel is family run. Father cares for the pool and garden, Mother does all the cooking and daughter runs the place overall ! All the food was traditional and locally sourced with olive oil from their own olive groves which surround the hotel. We loved the food. The quantities and choices suited us very well but you might be disappointed if you want mountains of food, chips with everything and a vast choice every day. Drinks were reasonably priced and the lemon drink Natasha made from their own lemons was wonderful.
It was acceptable to take lunch without clothes but everyone dressed for the evening meal. Bear in mind...this is a Naturist hotel.
There were many nationalities there and the Brits were in the minority which we prefer. We loved the chance to chat with Dutch, Belgium, German, French and many others.
We will return in 2013 and will ask for a room on the first or second floor next time to take advantage of the views and the sunsets.
There is no organised entertainment..thank God but Natasha will keep the bar open whilst guests require drinks. This small, family hotel is a real gem..we loved it. Lovely people, lovely food ( especially Natasha's mother's rabbit dish ) and they gave us the best Honeymoon ever.
If you like walking and it's not too hot there are many walks you can do from the hotel. In May the wild floors were amazing. The local people were so welcoming and we walked miles around that part of the island.
