OK, you only go here for one thing, and its the Piri Piri Chicken. The restaurant can only be described as fast food and your meal is served within 5 minutes of sitting down. I can guarantee that you will never have tasted Piri Piri chicken as good as this in your life. The statisitcs bear this out as it is rumoured that the establishment serves over 2000 covers every day at its busiest times. Total cost for 2 people (Couvert - 2 fresh bread rolls, a very light Portuguese cheese and olives) Piri Piri Chicken and chips and 2 bottles of coke, was €20.30! Excellent value and wonderful flavours. The chicken has a really good kick to it and we challenge anyone not to eat the whole thing! Great for a lunch or early evening light meal. Thoroughly recommended!

Yes it is Peri Peri - and it is actually spicy which makes a change from most of the places which have diluted the marinate to suit peoples taste buds. BUT THIS PLACE SPECIALISES IN BABY CHICKEN so dont come expecting the usual size broiler chicken you get at Marufu or at Nandos lol!

Boiled prawns for starters were actually very nice and fresh... ask for the peri peri oil and mayo for dipping and you have a spicy prawn cocktail ;)

Get at least a half chicken per person with chips and the famous onion and tomato salad and bingo your into happy days.

Expect a queue as this place is always rammed, accordingly the service is not too attentive, just keep a casual mind set and you will be fine.

One final warning if you do ask for extra pili pili powder as I did, be careful, it is the real thing!

Back after 7 years and the place is not to be missed. Huge restaurant and your choice of
Dinner is pirri-pirri or regular chicken, served with fries.
But man what flavours and taste, the best tasting chicken anywhere.
One serving is possibly not enough, but 2 will don the job. Going back when in Algarve next time.
