It’s a challenge climbing all the steps to Sofia’s and then once inside we were shown up a further set - but the views once up there made it all worth while.
For starter we shared fried zucchini with tzatziki. They were beautifully cooked and also went well with the dips left over from the bread plate.
For main course I had rare fillet steak which was beautiful and served with crispy roast potatoes and tasty grilled veg. My wife had chicken a la Creme which was superb and surprisingly large. It was served with sauté potatoes and rice. We also received a free halloumi salad - lovely cheese and the dressing on the salad was excellent. If anything the portions were on the large size for us and they could have cut back with an equivalent price reduction.
Total bill including bread, water and a bottle of wine was €58. Service was friendly and they seemed genuinely proud and pleased with our positive feedback.
