This taverna is in the back streets just off the Old Port, right behind the Emporiki Bank and just up from Koziakis Taverna.
We ate there quite a few times, both lunchtimes & in the evening, and enjoyed every meal.
My OH had the sea bass (on the menu as bream) 4 times, whole fish cooked perfectly. The accompaniments varied, one day he had tomatoes, lettuce & cucumber and very nice Greek potatoes. Pretty reasonable at 12 euro (including accompaniments).
I had the moussaka twice which was very nice, as was the soutzoukakia (meatballs) and my OH said the veal stiffado was the best he'd ever had anywhere in Greece!
We also enjoyed the kokkinisto and kleftico.
They also do meat on the spit (whole chickens, lamb & pork chunks), although the last couple of days we were there they didn't, not sure why.
I think chicken & pork is 7 euro, the lamb is 8 euro - and you get lots of meat!
I had the pork kebab twice, once it was fine whilst hot but became a bit dry as it cooled (but you get so much meat that I'd had enough to eat by then anyway) but the second time it was earlier in the day and it was very moist and tasty. I think you have to look at it and decide if it's too cooked (or maybe not enough) for you.
Local white wine is 3.50 euro per half litre.
The prices are very reasonable, we paid 28 euro for sea bass, moussaka and a litre of white wine plus bread and they gave us half litre of wine free.
You usually got a free sweet too.
We'd definitely eat here again if we go back to Skiathos.
