We decided to try pizza after two weeks eating mainly Greek food. Have not read the reviews before and it seems that we were lucky to get a table. Ordered two pizza's which were delicious, but rather pricey ( 13 Euro each). Quaint setting and friendly waiters. You could see Maria working in the kitchen, giving it a personal feel.

What can we say, absolutely wonderful. The food was great and the ambience was as good. There are no negatives to add to this review, good value with a warm welcome service. All we can say is keep up the good work.

Maria's Pizza is amazing, truly a gem on the island! We visited Maria's on a tip from our Lonely Planet book (their "Top Choice" for the island). Maria and her team select fresh local veggies daily, and you can taste the care and time they put into making their food. The food is delicious, with crisp veggies freshly cut specifically for your salad, and pizzas with incredible, plentiful toppings. Be sure to stop inside and see Maria in the kitchen, she's so friendly, and you can tell she really takes pride in her work. The restaurant is very cute, with hand-made paintings on the walls, and handwritten menus. Get there early, because they are only open from 6pm-10pm, and usually there's a line, but it's definitely worth the wait. Be sure to try the garlic bread--Maria takes homemade dough, folded over local cheeses, and topped with fresh garlic--it's amazing! On the way out pick up a pack of her "Moustokoulora" cookies, made with local grapes, really tasty!
Definitely worthy of Top Choice on the island. Thank you to Maria and her team!

We didn't believe that the restaurant is open only for 4 hours (that is from 18.00-22.00) until we saw it by ourselves! Maria has created a perfect place with character and offers her tasty creations for only 4 hours! Booking is not available and that is why there is a waiting line sitting on chairs by the restaurant' side. Our experience was so tasty and costed the less money of all the restaurants we had been and therefore we repeated our visit there!! This one should not be misses during one's stay in Skiathos!

We were recommended to go here by a couple who were leaving on our first day as he said it was pizza to die for which I didn't think any pizza was worth so I thought I'd go to see if it really was that good. It was very busy when we went but we still got a table straight away. It's got a very flower pot feel to it with the menus hand written in what looks like one of those third size exercise books you used to get your school reports in. They also looked like they'd been written by someone who was doodling while they were doing it! I'm sure this adds to the charm for some people but it wasn't for me. I also found the prices on the steep side, 13 euros for a pizza was more than you pay in most of the restaurants that feature in the top 10 on here for courses on their main menu! And finally the pizza was good, but not worth dying over unless you choke when you see the prices!!!!!
