This small all suite hotel on Skiathos Island is exceptional, friendly very helpul staff who provide everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Each suite in this 20 room hotel has a spectacular sea view and is beautifully furnished. The pool and jacuzzi pool on the terrace are lovely as is the pool bar. Breakfast is served in an alfresco dining area and everything is cooked to order including freshly made pastries and bread. During our stay the hotel did a special evening which included a live duet and all the candlelite tables where set around the pool. The evening and lunchtime menus are fairly limited but what is served is good quality and the portions are more than adequate The only down side to the hotel are the steps up to each room which are fairly steep and if you happen to be at the top of the hotel are a long climb which you need to be fit for. The hotel does not accept children under the age of 13 and seems to mostly consist of couples which in my opinion added to the relaxed feel of our stay.. The local bus service runs from near the hotel to take you into the lovely town of Skiathos and the service is very regular and easy to use and runs until the early hours of the morning.

Not much to add to the previous reviews other than to say we loved the hotel for the reasons given. Also, it is easy to walk into Skiathos by walking off the main road down the back streets. That way, you won't be walking along the main road (with few pavements) and it only takes about 10-15 minutes. Will hope we get to go again.

Room Tip: The suites are acccessed by external steps - if you're not reasonably fit, don't go for the...

We would highly recommend this hotel. We have been lucky enough to stay in a number of luxury hotels and experience their welcome but this was by far the best to date - we enjoyed it so much that we wanted to share our experience on trip advisor, not something we tend to do! We booked last minute and were not disappointed, starting with a lovely welcome at the hotel, followed by personal service throughout our stay as appropriate. The hotel is a comfortable walk into town, near to the bus stop for wider trips and access to sun beds and other facilities were without queues. Skiathos was wonderful and one to revisit for definite.

Room Tip: Higher suites have sea views - worth the climb!

We stayed at Aegean Suites 8th to 15th June, 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed Skiathos and the hotel. Small with only 20 bedrooms, lovely pool area with no one reserving sun beds. Tasteful decoration and furnishing in our suite....it was like having a small villa without the necessity to cater for yourself. The staff were absolutely wonderful, so professional and friendly. We stayed bed and breakfast and ate in the hotel twice which was delicious and the only slight criticism I would make is that the menu remained the same all week, so if you were on half board the choice becomes limited by day 6/7, however this does not distract from the excellent rating. We intend returning next year.

Room Tip: Request a room on either the first or second level with a sea view and then not as many steps to cli...

We stayed in the Aegean Suites towards the middle of May and had a lovely time. The hotel was so welcoming right from check-in to check-out. The staff were great and were very willing to help even when I got home and realised I had left a dress behind! Skiathos is a beautiful island and the hotel is well-located to walk into the town (about a fifteen minute walk away, which you can do the majority of along the beach). Only ate dinner in the restaurant once and it was nice, but we usually prefer to go out and about. Breakfast was included and was amazing, really relaxed and great choice of both hot and cold food. Highly recommended all in all!

We arrived at the Aegean Suites to a very warm welcome and after checking in were shown to our room (316), this was at the very top of the hotel. We had read about the steps but were certainly out of breath when we got to the room and Dominiki could see we were going to find the climb difficult and, as the hotel was not full, offered us another room lower down (106).
Our suite was very spacious, clean, with a large shower room and the towels were changed twice a day. We had an evening meal at the hotel which was very good as were the breakfasts.
The hotel is situated on the only road in Skiathos and the walk into the town takes around 20 minutes and is well lit. In the Old Port there are plenty of places to eat and drink and those not on the seafront offer better value and, in our opinion, are nicer to eat in. We feel that the seafront places are more suited as a place to have a drink rather than eat.

Room Tip: If you don't like steps (150 plus to the higher rooms) then make sure when you book you ask for...
