Stayed there recently. The hotel has been upgraded recently and the room was ok. Location is not that good as very little to do nearby and the town is about a 20 minute up and down walk which can be difficult in the heat. Beach is very small and even guests have to pay for sunbeds etc which are ancient. This is despite the fact that there is no working pool - there are a couple of small pools but these are not in use. The water in the sea did not seem that clean as the end of the little beach was usually filled with locals and migrants and there were no toilet facilities for these people with obvious results.

The hotel is all inclusive and it has probably about the worst all inclusive offering you could have. That said, the 2 barmen and waitress are very nice and the rating of 2 is actually one point higher because of this than it should be. Key problem is hygiene. The chefs smoke in the kitchen, we saw a huge cockroach just outside the kitchen door, and the guy who looks after the sunbeds routinely throughout the day walks straight from the beach into the kitchen. Flies also on the food. Moreover, the food was usually lukewarm at best and the choice was poor. You even have pay for french fries.

The hotel has nil facilities and even the nice bar was never open. There was a Greek night on Friday with a couple of singers. This was the only entertainment during the week. Not wonderful and seating was scarce as the management had reserved a lot of tables for themselves which in the event were not used, despite guests having to wait for a seat - not good.

Overall, this is a very cheap hotel with little to commend it and there are better places to go to on Samos.

It is situated near the port of Samos, at a walkable distance but it is better to take a taxi when you arrive with all the baggage. The beach is in front of the hotel and the view from the balcony is amazing. The staff is always willing to help and very friendly and polite The food is acceptable and somedays it is extraordinary! The furniture in the room is new but the room lacks some amenities such as a hairdryer. Overall it is a nice holiday place to spend a week or more

Only been here for a day however felt the need to write a review.
Ignore all the poor reviews.
A few items missing from room on arrival like kettle, hairdryer and iron....went to reception and sorted straight away. Very very helpful and couldn't do enough for us.
Apparently certain items are not left in rooms as they have had previous holiday makers taking items with them.

All the staff are very polite, helpful and nothing is a problem.

Last but not least... .Olly at beach who rents out the sunbed and provides a waiter service for those wishing to pay.
He provides a top service, isn't pushy for to buy a drink, always happy and smiling.
My wife left a pair of shorts on the sunbed today as she leaving the beach and he ran to reception to catch her to give her the shorts.... now that's service!!

This hotel is outside the town. It is walkable from the port. About 15 minutes. The view is the most beautiful. The setting is amazing. We stayed for 1 night. I cannot fault it except the bar does not stay open late. The beach is right in front of the hotel. There is a small restaurant down from this hotel. Food is really good service is good. Very friendly. They serve the beach also. I cannot wait to return.

We were dropped off at a roundabout to an awaiting taxi to take us to our hotel that was down narrow streets. We were greeted by the receptionist and checked in. They had some food ready for us and the chef cooked us some risotto especially for us. The room had wonderful views over the bay so it was great to wake up to that view. We had arrived before the season had properly started so it was very quite. The barman was very friendly letting us try all sorts of wine before we chose the one we liked best. On our first night they had no Rum or vodka but he got some for the next evening and the rest of the week. The town is a twenty minute walk away so we only ventured there during the day. A very friendly place is Samos town. There is no swimming pool but a stoney beach. There is an attendant that looks after you but you have to pay €15 each for a week hire of sun beds parasol and a towel. You will need deck shoes to swim as entering and exiting is awkward. Meals were great. Not a great deal of choice but plentiful and delicious. The chef saw me smelling some herbs in a jar and said the come from the mountain. He then took some away and came back 5 mins later with a cup of herbal tea. A very personal service. On the beach there are some refugees that gather there but don’t cause you any trouble. We had a great rep called Rebecca who knew the island very well. We had a trip around the island and she hosted it.
All in all a great relaxing holiday. Would love to go back again sometime.
