Visited here during one of our official offsites. It is a great property with its private beach. The rooms are nice and spacious. My room faced the lagoon/lake which was a very soothing experience in the morning with the early morning cup of tea. Polite staff and a pretty property to spend a weekend in.

Room Tip: Request for rooms having a view of the lagoon.

Where do we begin...
This place and the service they provided us was amazing. Their attention to our needs and level of professionalism is the best we received in India, in fact any place we have ever stayed.
From the start of organising our wedding in 2012 to the day we checked out the level of service, attention to detail, information received and commitment to our cause has been excellent.
The high end quality provided was warmly received and very refreshing. From the food to the rooms (suite which we did not leave) we experienced we cannot comment highly enough.
General overall costs are on a par with any 5* hotel anywhere in the world and must be factored in when considering this wonderful hotel.
Our special thanks to the senior sales and kitchen staff who made our day that bit more special, their personal dedication was truly touching.
We can honestly not fault this place, it is very special and we hope to return one day.

We had a comfortable and pleasant stay at The Leela for 4 days. Our room was spacious and well-maintained (loved the plush pillows and soft bed, and superb hot water shower complete with Jacuzzi!), with a great view of the lagoon. The airport pick-up and drops were well-organized, although I felt that the driver who picked us up from the airport drove too rashly for our comfort. The best part about the resort is probably the private beach - pristine white sands, clean water to swim, and quiet ambience. We had a great time simply lounging on the sunbeds all day. The food was of pretty good quality, although the drinks are a little too pricey. One of the mocktails named "The Leela Special" was a simple concoction of Tropicana juices, and yet we were charged a bomb for that!! They serve you complimentary chilled coconut water on your arrival to the hotel - we loved it and ordered it again the next day, and it ended up costing more than ten times what it would be priced outside! Similarly for the shop that sells souvenirs, all the stuff seemed over-priced. The part of the restaurant by the pool-side is a beautiful place to have dinner, candlelight, soft music et al. The staff were very courteous and indulged in friendly chit-chat with us. Proximity to beach, hospitable staff, tasty meals and luxury treatment - all of these factors made our stay worthwhile. Definitely recommend it for some indulgence!!

I stayed at the Leela, Goa for 2 nights to attend a business conference of Croda Chemicals. The positive - The beach side location and the property as such is amazing. Vast green garden areas dotted with ponds and pool. The restaurant and guest rooms are luxurious with good maintenance. Food quality is also superb and in line with what can be expected from a resort of this kind. Our check in was very efficient, warm and cordial with the garlanding and tilak.

The negative is however, that the subsequent hospitality was not up to the mark. You ask for anything as simple as a mouth freshener or ice cubes and the staff would look at each other confusingly and take 10-15 minutes. The golf cart service was bad as for going to the room, the carts were generally not available readily and one has to walk long distances from the restaurant to the rooms in the spread out area. As we were told that they take us around the resort only between 16:00hrs-18:00hrs so we had preinformed. However, we had to wait for nearly 20 minutes for a round of the resort even after prior confirmation with the bell desk.

Its just that for the staff I would say that they looked to be mostly junior staff of local region, sometimes having problems to understand Hindi. I have a few names that I thought I would share but it would not be appropriate to single out individuals. I can only say that in this aspect, nothing beats the Oberoi hospitality.

Room Tip: Choose at least the premier room with living area.

We came here for our birthdays and I must say the level of service surpassed any that I have had previously. Being a resort hotel, you can't make direct comparisons with places like the Oberoi in Mumbai (way we were prior), but they excel at helping you relax and unwind.

The 3 bottles of complimentary champagne through the week for our celebrations along with further cake were particularly special, but it was the smaller things that made you feel like royalty. Walking through the lobby, staff would remember us by name and wish us a happy birthday without any prompting - the kind of attentiveness I haven't had elsewhere.

Lovely stretch of beach and plenty of dining options in or just around. They also provided a further complimentary private shuttle to the airport as our flight was quite late - Just a big thankyou to all the staff for making the holiday so wonderful.

Room Tip: It's worth paying the little extra and upgrading to the conservartory room for a little more spa...

This hotel is simply superb, but they have a ridiculous policy of charging for absolutely everything. If you want to use the internet, they charge you. If you want to use their par three golf course they charge you. If you want to use their bicycles they charge you. It is really not necessary. Indeed it is penny pinching.

Food is to die for. The infrastructure could not be bettered. Service is more than expected, and the beech.....well it is Goa! Simply superb.

If I have a problem, it is with the guests from the Eastern Bloc. Sadly they treat everyone they meet like inferiors, especially the staff. But you cannot blame the Hotel for that.

Spread across75 acres this is one of the top and elite property in Goa..me and my husband stayed here for 2 days and it has been the most memorable holiday ever.. right from the moment of our welcome at the lobby, every second came out to be an experience of its kind..the interior and ambience of Leela is wonderful..its cosy, inviting and well furnished.
The Restaurant serves three meal buffet. all meals were well planned and palatable for both Indians and Foreigners. The most elaborate of all was the breakfast with all possible variety of Indian food one can imagine.
The pool is wonderful. Swim wear is a must. Spa is good. my attendant Rosita was a wonderful and cheerful person.
The most wonderful part is the Beach..sparkling clean..secluded and the best place to spend endless hour with your sweet heart.. i had a wonderful time with my love here..our long walks and endless chats...the securitymen at the beach are alert and very helpful.
Their are Buggies at the leela to travel within the property..the lagoon is beautiful with variety of plants, herb garden and exotic birds..the music and jam sessions at the lobby is great.. especially the santoor session by Imtiaz and Sharukh was ultimate..worth a stay..

Room Tip: everything is wonderful here....
