I am 56 and last dived in 1993, my 12 year old son has only pool dived 3 times. Winston's instruction has caused our son to want to dive more and has fuelled his enthusiasm for the safeguarding and respect for our delicate marine infrastructure.
I also did not have a heart attack which, according to a recent DT article, I am in a higher than usual risk category, being now a little unfit.
I can highly recommend Omega divers for instruction and dives. Approach them also for good budget and non-budget!) ( accommodation. However, we treated ourselves to the 4 star Almyrida Hotel with roof top infinity pool, breakfast dining, seaview and 3 minutes walk from the dive centre.

Just completed 10 dives with Omega Divers. Maria in the office is superb, making organisation easy.
Office is just back from the beach in Almyrida near Chania. Good selection of kit for those who need it.
Instructors, Kyle, Winston and Maria were great. Very relaxed and took the time to support everyone whatever their experience.
Options included the Elephant Cave, night dive, shore, wreck and wall dives.
Takes a bit of time to get everyone ready for the 3 minute minibus ride to the pier, with mostly 15 minutes by rib to the dive sites.
Wildlife is limited, as it is in most of the Med.

Lovely activity with family and very friendly relaxed professional and helpfull staff.

We can recommend this place. A tip the boat extra is really worth . Extra fun going to diving spot.
