My entire stay at Leopard was excellent. The ambience was wonderful, the staff were warm and the food was great. I particularly enjoyed the Uzuri Spa. The treatments there were terrific. I noticed Leopard would be a lovely honeymoon destination and I would definitely go back there for a longer stay.

One thing for sure is that the Leopard was really beautiful and truth be told, despite the few hitches, I would certainly stay here again.

A few pointers though (hope their management reads this site), they need to up their game when it comes to cleanliness. There is no point having a five star place when you can't provide five star cleanliness. There is nothing more important to me than hygiene especially when it comes to public facilities.

The front desk staff need to be a little bit more 'smiley' most of their staff were including their garden and maintenance staff, so there really is no excuse for the receptionists to wear sullen faces at the front desk. They also need to be a bit more efficient, some of us like our things done really fast, taking more than an hour to print a simple thing as a receipt does not give a good image of the hotel.

Otherwise everything else was superb! The ambiance, surrounding, privacy made it really worthwhile. Their food, though repetitive was nice enough to make you eat it many days in a row. Their chef (man who cooks eggs) was really chatty, friendly and offered really good service.

They also have two great pools and I really enjoyed myself in the pool at the back, seems to me most people don't know about it, it was really private.

This hotel has a great location on Diani Beach and the beach itself is great. The resort has all the facilities you need but we found that the service was shoddy at times - we waited almost one hour on our first night for someone to take our drinks order for dinner - not fun with a 4 year old! the staff/management weren't really interested in our complaint - we got a free dinner invite but they expected us to pay for drinks - !! shame as the place is nice - may give it another go.

Yeah. The gardens are amazing. We had two room adjourning each other cause of small kids. Very convinient! Nice ammenities. I read that some commented on 10 years old TV. Sorry, but if you go to Diani beach to see TV- you are in the wrong place in the beginning. Everything is very OK in the rooms, though it is not of 6 stars standard, so what? Very big rooms, excellent A/C, beautiful little terrace to sit and stare at palms and drink tea. Beach there is superb. And if to walk to the extreme left, it is getting even better!! Chiu restaurant is overprized and the vine selection was poor. And the SPA... Where else in Kenya you would find such the facility? it is simply gorgeous!!

My wife and myself recently stayed at Leopard Beach with our 16 month old son. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel at home by the friendly reception staff. We had an amazing room overlooking the ocean with a terrace and jacuzzi. It cost a little more then the standard room but was well worth it. The food was amazing and on one night we were treated to a beach BBQ with traditional dancers. My wife treated herself to a Spa treatment in their spa which she said was first class and very good value for money. Overall would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kenya and wanting a good destination for your beach stay.

Went to Leopard for 8 days in the end of March. Everything was ok until we saw our room. We had booked a Chui Cottage, the cottage is not a cottage but a standard room with neighbors to both sides. The room itself was average in best case 3 stars, a 10 years old TV. The bathroom was so tiny and in a terrible mess. We complained at once but only help was" if you pay extra - 100 euro a day" you can rent a villa. (not a free standing house) after some discussion we accepted and now we got a room (villa) that was expected from the beginning.
FOOD
If you know just a bit of cooking, please take a job at Leopard!!! we paid extra for gourmet meal plan, what a waist.
SERVICE
OK - but if you order 3 thing in a bar or rest. You will get 3 notes to sign, so image the number of notes you end up with in the end of the holiday - impossible to check the end bill. We found faults for more than 100 euro!!!!
VERDICT
Don’t expect too much from this hotel max 3 stars. But a lovely beach
