Have just returned from a fabulous 2 week stay at Hotel Petros, Tsilovi. All of the staff are lovely and helpful especially Sandra,Susie and Angela as nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a large family room (258) which was big enough for 2 adults and 3 teens. The weather was beautiful everyday and there were always plenty of sunbeds The rooms are cleaned everyday and towels and beds changed every other. As many say the beds are hard but we liked them and found them comfy, just ask for another pillow each and its fine! Susie cooks some lovely lunches at the pool bar and is always friendly and helpful. There are plenty of lovely restaurants nearby we ate at 12 different ones and never had a bad meal and they are very reasonable usually with some free wine! Sandras bar along the road was lovely with great food and lovely owners. A visit to the Premier restaurant is a must, lovely food and collected from hotel on a horse and cart!! If you want to go on a boat trip you should book with Levante (captain Spiros), he is not the cheapest (about 40e each) but you get what you pay for, and it was a fantastic day out on a speed boat with only about 30 people who all had there own seat and actually saw quite a few turtles up close!! The beach is about a 15 min walk but well worth it as the breeze is delightful. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would love to return in the future, thank you for a lovely stay! x

Room Tip: room 258 (family room) lovely and peaceful cannot fault it!

Just back from a week at the Petros! I would recommend this hotel. Hotel is very clean, really helpful and friendly staff, nothing seemed to be too much bother for them. I saw them interact with all the guests. The rooms were serviced everyday, rooms are basic, but everything you need. The hotel is about 10-15 mins from the strip but we enjoyed the walk. The only downfall the hotel had was their breakfast, there wasn't much choice and did not vary in the 7 days we were there but again, people were satisfied with the breakfast. There was no issue getting sun loungers, plenty for everyone and the pool was very nice. Tsilivi is a quiet relaxing resort, just what we wanted but we did visit Laganas one night for the night life. Also, if you are eating in Laganas, try Cool Peppers restaurant, fabulous steak house. Some restaurants we liked in Tsilvi were Family, Majestic (lovely cooked breakfast), and Sweet Revenge. I would also recommend hiring a car and driving around the island, which we did, visit Nichola's beach. Finally, we went to Smuggler's Cove, we booked with Thomas Cook, I would not recommend booking with them, they use a pirate ship that takes a very long time to get there and you get less than 1 hour on the beach, book with someone on the strip, there are many to chose from.

We have just come back from Petros, after a two week stay,
When we arrived we was put in a road side room. The room was very noisy with traffic and there was a house across the road which had chickens, a goat and a cockerel , so you can imagine was quite noisy. I asked in the morning if i could possibly move rooms due to the noise. Sandra was very helpful and advised she would do her best to move us. She was very helpful and did move us to another room which overlooked the pool and was much better with no traffic noise at all. When we arrived in that room the air conditioner didn't work with out the remote control so i went to the reception again to advise. The other lady came to the room straight away to assist us. There was a problem with the remote censor inside the air con so she advised she would call the engineer. The engineer came with in an hour and fixed it.
Suzie at the pool bar was very nice and always said hello in the morning and made a crackin full english breakfast.
The rooms were cleaned every day with clean towels and bins empted.
Beds were a bit hard and only one pillow but we did get used to it.
The pool was very clean and cold and plenty of sunbeds. You didn't have to put towels on every morning to reserve.
The beach was about 15 minutes to get to if you went the back way and was well worth going to see.
Bars and Restaurants were ten minutes walk away and i honestly can say i never had a bad meal all the two weeks i was there.
Thank you petros for our wonderful stay with you , i would definitely come back.

Room Tip: Ask for a room thats not near the road,

For anyone thinking of going to Zante this is the Hotel to stay in!!! I came here with my Girlfriend and her family on holiday and had never stayed in a bed and breakfast before which was a great change as the breakfast was lovely. The welcome from the staff when I arrived was second to none and they made sure you had everything you wanted to make your stay comfortable. All in all this is a brilliant Hotel and a special mention to Suzi's bar as she was very helpful and could not do enough for you.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing 2 weeks in Hotel Petros...staff were very friendly and were always happy to assist with anything you needed. Susie was lovely...everyday we would sit around the pool and have a chat over a cool glass of lager....would recommend her Greek Salad. Hotel was really clean and linen and towels changed regularly...continental breakfast was very basic but we did have a few English breakfasts from the Bar poolside. Resort was about 10 mins walk with a good selection of restaurants to choose from...overall I would recommend Hotel Petros and with a guaranteed TAN to return home with!! Will go back there as it felt like home but abroad.

Room Tip: Good views overlooking pool on top floor...can see Kefalonia in the distance
