We stayed in a small villa at the top of the hill above Tsilivi Beach and the Taverna Paradeisos was the closest one to our place so it was natural that we would go there first. It turned out to be the ONLY Taverna we visited in Tsilivi and not just because it was closest. This is what a Greek Taverna should be like - Literally right on the edge of the sea, a mix of Greek music and cool jazz on the playlist, rustic old fashioned charm, super friendly hosts, great Greek food with some twists on the traditional, cold beer and lots of local Greek families eating there instead of the hoards of tourists further down the beach. Our favourite dishes included the Kalmari, the Beef burger, the veal stew, moussaka, the steak, the sea bass.... wait a minute - it was all delicious.
