This is a lovely place to stay with amazing views. Being on a hill, be prepared to do a lot of walking up and down, but after a week of doing these walks we felt so much fitter. We really admired the family, the 2 brothers had built this all themselves. The rooms were clean, bright and spacious. We loved the blue lighting, so relaxing. The shower was small but we did not find this a problem. The kitchen equipment was very basic, but if you needed any extra equipment you only had to ask, they were so obliging. The bar and food were great, very tasty and good value. A really warm and friendly welcome from this family. Amazing value for money. Thanks for making our stay so great.

Room Tip: All rooms are good. Sea view rooms are the best.

zante view is a lovely place to stay if you're ok with basic accomodation. it was clean, well looked after and the owners couldnt do enough for you. it seemed very safe, laidback and family orientated. i would highly reccommend the BBQ night. best lamb chops EVER!

The warm welcome you receive as soon as you arrive at Zante View is really lovely. Spyros (the owner) and his wife (forgotten her name *shame on me) are really lovely people along with Lisa and Andreas..
We arrived on Palm Sunday and more or less everything was closed by late afternoon but Lisa offered to drive us to the only supermarket that would be open that night, and it wasn't even an uncomfortable offering, she is a pleasant person to chat to..

We stayed there for a week from Easter Sunday 5th April - 12th April Easter Sunday over there in Zakynthos..
Our bedding was changed every 2 days and towels every day which was really cool..

The views are amazing, believe every comment on here when it says that the views are amazing! We hired a car for 5 days so we didn't really do much walking up the hill as everyone else has mentioned, but once we returned the car that 10/15 minute walk up the hill to get to Zante View is a good little challenge :)

The pool is cleaned every morning by Andreas and if you're an early riser like ourselves you will experience the best sunrises ever..and the roosters in the morning having their 'who's got the loudest cockadoodledooooo'...and the song birds in the morning...and this all starts before the sun is anywhere near peaking over the mountains..
Sundown is just as lovely, the calm and stars oh wow the stars :)

The view straight out of your front door is mountains, gorgeous olive groves and mountains...
The view from the balcony is the little windy stretch coming uphill towards Zante View..and above that is the view of the sea...Zante View really does live up to its name..

Every Monday and Thursday night at Zante View they have a Greek night where Spyros and Spyros (Spryos' brother) sing live authentic music whilst there's a made-to-order BBQ is going and I promise they have some of the finest BBQ meats to offer including the gorgeous Sea Bream yummm...

The view from their restaurant is absolutely amazing overlooking mountains and deep groves just sheer beauty and tranquil...
They have a swimming pool which as I mentioned earlier is cleaned every morning and is very popular with the kids too...a small play area for the kids and plenty of sun loungers so you can just chill alll daaayyy..

The location of Zante View is probably one of its best features..it's sat at the top of the hill so as not-so-easy as it may be to walk to it every evening after a full meal..once you're there the views are ridiculously beautiful whichever way you turn..and to add to that amazing-ness its at the end of the road so there are no passers-by nor any members of public just wandering around..the people who you see at Zante View are the people who are staying at Zante View...awesome!

There are a lot of people who complained about the showers being too small and honestly? The only thing I can say to that is you can't say they're too small (you have to silently admit you're a little too big) lol sorry..they're not the roomiest but we (me my wife and both our kids) never seemed to have an issue..

I'd also like to point out that although Zante View may seem to some people as a 'budget' accommodation for your holiday..was their service a 'budget' service? Because what you receive for what you have paid is very VERY HARD to find anywhere else..it's self-catering yes but that's we're Spyros is passing the savings back to you and that should make you smile :)

Watch how quick it is to walk to the beach...
1)walk down to the bottom of the road from Zante View
2)turn right and walk towards Asian Feast restaurant which will be on you left
3)take the left after Asian Feast and end of the road is one of the best beaches in Zakynthos
All in all you could walk to the beach in 10minutes

Definitely will be returning to Zante View

..ps..book directly through Zante View and Spyros/Lisa will give you a lovely offer, just contact them via email

Thank you everyone at Zante View for your hospitality
Love from the Alam's (room 11)

Room Tip: Upper floor probably has the better views but all are just as brilliant

This will most likely be a repetition of other reviews, because it seems that most have had similar experiences here - but hopefully I can point out a few other things. Zante View has amazing views, is a great price (and 10% cheaper if booked direct!) and the people who run it are fantastic and always happy to help. The apartment was basic - very small shower, intermittent air con, odds and sods in the cupboards with no consistency, but when you wake up to the view then none of that matters (and if it particularly bothers you then Im sure they'd be happy to sort out what they could).
The BBQ night is a must - live music, some traditional greek, some covers of classics. Food for the bbq night was superb! I highly recommend the pork steak! The food the rest of the time was always nice, most meals are served with chips.
Down the bottom of the hill is a great place called Ark bar - great cocktails and good food.
Nefis is a local company offering excersions - the Island Tour was great as spent a day taking it some amazing views and seeing 3/4 of the island. The owners at Zante View are more than happy to call them for you and have them visit the apartments to discuss the tours with you. They'll also call you taxis etc or help arrange hiring vehicles.
If you're looking for somewhere more like a posh hotel, keep looking, but if you're happy with basic, clean and comfortable then this is the place for you. In April places were only just starting to open, so choice is limited on restaurants but still enough open to have a choice. The mini golf was also a highlight for us - massive place and great to have a beer whilst playing. Most places serve Mythos beer, but try to find Fix as that is a great beer!

Just back from a week at Zante view studios, room was very nice but bathroom especially the shower was tiny, had to open the shower door to soap up. Had a couple of problems with a/c and tv but was soon sorted. Owners are very friendly and welcoming as are all the people on the island. BBQ night was very good usually something we avoid but glad we didn't. The Island is beautiful but unfortunately hardly anything was open and it was extremely cold in the evenings. We hired a car locally and drove around the island each day, there are some lovely little coves and bays especially Keri and Nikolas Port, some of the resorts seem almost derelict but apparently they will be smartened up for the beginning of the season on May 1st. Enjoyed our break but would be hard to find things to do on a 2 week summer break unless you just enjoy sitting round the pool or on the beach. Only a couple of local restaurants were open but one of them was Giorgios, just at the bottom of the hill to Zante view, the food and service in Giorgios is excellent and we visited twice and loved it there.
