Food was really nice, bit more expensive than most places, and not easy to get to from the centre of town. So added cost of return cab which was 16 euro didnt add up to us going again. To be honest most places we ate at were very good

Although the reviews were very good, and although there was nothing wrong with the food we found we found it very average.

Amanda is now running this taverna while George is running the sister taverna - " the squid & octopus" in Tsilivi. The setting is beautiful over looking the sea and main land Greece. Greek night is on a Saturday with two dancers and all the authentic Greek music and dancing. Service was slower than normal on this night as the taverna was very busy but food was still good. We went on another night and was able to sit and chat with Amanda as it wasn't as busy!
Can definitely recommend all the starters as we enjoy a Greek meze - especially the mussels and mushrooms. Prawn salad is also a favourite of my daughters.
See you next year xx

We have visited the Olde Vineyard on many occasions and have always had an enjoyable meal. Now run by Amanda,(George has opened up the Squid and Octopus) you are greeted with a friendly welcome and offered a wide menu to look at. Whilst we were there a storm was blowing up on the mainland and we were able to watch some fantastic fork lighting over the sea in the distance. Saturday night is Greek night so the service on the Saturday we went was a bit slow but the two Greek dancers were very good. Another restaurant to be added to your list if you haven't already been. By the way, Amanda is also a wedding arranger!!

Lovely setting overlooking the sea, everything home made and that was very apparent. Desserts to die for (my husband loves bakclava and it was good) Again very freindly staff and good service.
