Lovely complex of approx 10 villas in lithakia, approximately 3km from laganas. Bakery, small shop, 2 cafés and Dennis Taverna within the village, all a short walk. Also walked into agios sostis for further restaurants/bars etc. Really enjoyed our first villa experience and having our own pool and sunbathing area. BBQ also available on request.

We stayed in these villas for two weeks and had a wonderful holiday. These villas are in a very quiet area of this island, a perfect location for exploring and great as the car for this is provided. There is a lovely travers within walking distance but if walking is not an option they provide a mini bus service free of charge. The pool is perfect with the garden being fairly private with conifers. There is a safe in the villa and the kitchen has everything required for cooking your own meals. On arrival Louise the rep has provided a very good welcome pack meaning you can eat and drink so shopping can wait until the next day, this was much appreciated. The welcome paperwork is brilliant with all the driving instructions required to travel the whole islands. Make sure you visit laganas beach and hire pedlos if you want to see turtles as we did three times and saw them each time. Keri beach for boat trips to island, and private boat hire. Piano bar and menu in main town are good and waiter in day in menu is great for advise on places to visit. One thing I can honestly say about roads they are single track but really not bad scary roads as there are no edges they are in olive groves, I am very scared if and high roads but these did not bother me at all. I can honestly say we loved this villa and would recommend.

Room Tip: I think any of the ten villas would be as good.

stayed here early june one of the best holidays we have ever had.the villas were just as described and more .very private and peaceful .very clean and well equipped .the on site staff and louise the thompson rep were so helpful and efficient.we ate at dennis taverna a few times which is very good and only a short walk away.but mainly went to agios sostis only 8 euros in taxi .where there is a good choice of tavernas.but must state this type of hol is not for party animals.all i can say is we have just booked again for next year see you then.ready for another chilled out holiday.

Room Tip: all villas are the same

We stayed during the off season (late April), it was 11 degrees Celsius when when our plane touched down early in the morning so we probably had an atypical experience. First off, I have to confirm what the other reviews say, it is a well maintained, peaceful, beautiful property. Our view out of the kitchen window was that of a tree full of plump juicy lemons, really lovely.

Anyway, it was cold in Zakynthos and so was the villa when we arrived. I think that we were the first guests of this year, and the villa was even colder on the inside due to its thick stone walls. We travelled with our one year old and it was a bit alarming to see the the baby monitor announcing that it was 15 degrees in the bedroom. I'm grateful for the information packet we received from Nikos the caretaker. There it mentions that the airconditioning units in the bedrooms also can heat - this really saved us the first few nights! The house also felt quite damp - again I think that this is because we were the first guests in months, but unfortunately for us this meant that our blankets didn't feel quite right, and we had to hang our towels outside to dry. Fortunately, a laundry rack is provided).

Anyway, I think the villas are built to be comfortable in the hot weather of the high season, and that they are probably glorious sanctuaries when there is a heat wave. During the last few days of our stay the climate of the house improved immensely - it was warmer inside that outside during the chilly evenings!

Longs story short, it's a lovely property, the heating saved our holiday... but if we ever be visiting again we will do so later in the year when it's warmer!

Other interesting information... there is free wi-fi. It works well outside, the connection dropped intermittently indoors (those thick stone walls again) but it was workable. There is no washing machine... so if you have to do laundry it's either by hand, or you can ask Nikos for the number of a laundry service that will pick up your laundry and deliver it clean (9 euros per 7 kilo if I remember correctly).

There are 10 villas on this site which are down a quiet secluded lane. The trees around the villas are now bigger than in the pictures and so offer much more privacy. The villa we stayed in had three bedrooms. 2 on the first floor, 1 double and 1 twin with a small bathroom and a further larger double and bathroom with full size bath on the ground floor. The main living area is open plan with seating area and a kitchen area with table and chairs. The kitchen has a microwave, fridge and full sized cooker. It was not overly well equipped but we did go at the end of the season so maybe there had been a few breakages over the summer. We managed perfectly well in any case. The pool and garden area were clean and well maintained with sun loungers. There was a welcome pack on our arrival which had bread, margerine, jam, tea bags and a host of other things. It was very much appreciated! A car was included in our holiday package and we had great fun exploring the whole island. We found some beautiful sandy beaches at Gerakas on the Vasilikos peninsula and also a little further afield at Alikanas. This beach is beautifully sandy and shelves very gently making it perfect for children. We visited the shipwreck from the view point at the top of the cliff. The road is a little precarious in places so beware and other than the view which is fabulous and a few stalls selling local olive oil and honey there isn't much there. Overall I would definitely recommend the villas as a quiet, peaceful place to stay and great location to explore the island.

What can we add that hasn't already been said? Nothing really as these villas are first class . Clean and tidy , great location and the pool is a diamond which the kids loved(16&12) aircon is a godsend in the bedrooms and even got too cold at times. We have only just got back from these on Friday last week having stayed there for two weeks.we had no 5 and this was the one we always wanted as it is overlooking the olive groves. Also no 4 and 6 Are alongside and have the same view out. Louise was just as everybody has Said and she now has divised a priority check in for a small fee on departure at Zante which means you get to queue jump to check in like a VIP ! Great and so easy, thanks Louise . Take her advice and visit the places she has meticulously laid out directions for and you will take in some of the best sites and beaches on the island. Take the motorboats out from Keri ( dolphin boats) 60 euros for three hours and you can visit all the laganas bay and more and still have time to stop off on turtle island which is opposite and deserted to snorkel or sunbath .we ate at Maestro , syrataki and aperitto in agios sostis and a couple of taveneras in Keri at night and was never disappointed. There are ab food market and lidl just 10 min drive away for the easiest of food shops.Petrol is not so cheap out there at £1-55 a litre. We would love to go back again and would say if you are thinking about these villas as a holiday then just book them without fear as they are all you want in a cracking holiday base for the family to enjoy themselves in a peaceful setting.

These villas are fab. Really comfortable , generously proportioned, and rural enough to be away from the usual teenage Greek thing. Zante is a beautiful island - well worth exploring. Lots to offer outside the typical tourist trade. The Thomson rep Louise is amazing. She helped us so much. We felt this package deal was brilliant value and we'll go with thomson villas again.
