I have just returned from the Thomas Bay Hotel with my wife. We agree with all the good things said on this website about the hotel. It's downfall is the horrendous noise which can come from the tavernas opposite at night, which can carry on until well after midnight. We were at the rear of the hotel and therefore furthest from the noise but it still forced us to close all the windows which is not very nice in hot weather ( you can pay pay 5 euros a night for air conditioning but this defeats the object of booking a cheaper hotel ).
We would not return to the hotel because of the noise, which is a shame because it really is an excellent hotel.

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a week's stay at the Thomas Bay hotel, thought it was great. Very tidy, rooms cleaned every day and of a good standard, helpful and friendly staff, plenty of entertainment such as quizzes and bingo/karaoke put on every night. The food is good, you get 3 courses and a choice of 2/3 dishes. It can be a bit samey so we alternated and ate out every other night, there are a choice of restaurants, Zorbas and the Little Prince are particularly nice. The resort of San Stefanos itself is quite small and would probably be a bit boring for the younger people (we are in our 20s and although we wanted a chilled out holiday, we wished there was a bit more night life) Beach isn't too far away and the pool is of a good size with plenty of sun loungers available. The one thing I will say is that we were led to believe it was an over 16s hotel and there were children there which was a bit annoying. Would definitely recommend this hotel, but possibly not to the younger generation if you're looking for something to do of a night, plus it's a bit far out to go anywhere livelier.

We spent two weeks in the Thomas bay hotel and it was the most relaxing holiday we have ever been on could have done with staying longer.
The staff are fantastic and so friendly and helpfull and very entertaning. They are always avaliable and nothing is too much trouble for them. The meals where fantastic and always plenty on offer very filling.
The pool area was clean and no matter what time you went you could always get a sun lounger.
The rooms where clean and where cleaned every day the dining room and reception and bar area where always spotless.
The evening entertainment was fantastic always had you laughing. While we was there we had bingo,( A great laugh on number calling and comments from the bar staff.) Karakoe and quizzes which most people took part. The greek dancing was excellent and the bar staff got people up to join in.
If you want a relaxing and friendly environment this is the place to go.
San Stefanos is a quiet resort with a few shops and resturants. We found that drinks where cheaper ate the hotel than out and about.
The beach was only a five minute walk away and is well maintained very claen and the sea is clear blue.
We will definatly be returning again and as we discoverd most people do.
Is well worth a visit.

me and my boyfriend stayed at the thomas bay hotel for the last two weeks in august and throughly enjoyed it.
the hotel itself is clean tidy and welcoming and as for the staff they are what makes the holiday superb. they are all so friendly, go out their way to help you and are more like friends.
the pool is tidy with lots of sunbeds. its very quiet and lovely for a relaxing holiday!
the weather was lovely, very hot at certain times.
at night, the entertainment was great fun. bingo, karioke, quiz's everyones favourites.
the beach was nice we tended to stay bythe pool but would take a walk to the beach in the evening after dinner.
the food was fine. we didnt think there would be much choice but there was something for everyone and if you didnt like what there was on the menu they would allow you to usually pick something off the lunchtime menu. we ate out one night in mamma's the pizza place over the road but to be honest the hotel was better and drinks were far cheaper.
ther only downside was that in the rooms there are no fridges so if you want to keep water cool or have any medication you need to keep refridgerated then you have to put it behind reception.
all in all it was a wonderful holiday and we are planning to go back next year :)

We have just got back from an amazing 11 night stay at The Thomas Bay Hotel and had a fabulous time! We could not fault the hotel at all, everyone was very friendly and happy to help and always asked us how we were. The rooms were clean, and good looking, bathroom maybe small for some but fitted our needs, Just be aware that that the shower does flood the bathroom, so just be careful moving around, and also that the sugage system cannot take paper, so it has to go into bins. Lots of hot water all thought the day. Meals were great, good choice, but if something doesnt take your fancy then there are plently of places to go and eat, I must suggest Zorbas across the road great food and as entertainment there is greek dancing, which is also done at the Little Price which again is good food. We also visited Mama Mia which we do have to fault as the service was extremely poor, but was good food. Lots of people talk of Ozzy Oils and we went up to try thm but were rather rudely turned away as we didnt have a reservation and were unaware of that they take them. There is entertainment in the hotel, but most nights we took a wander around the many shops which are all very good value apart from general cosmetics, and we visited one of the many bars called Bar 38 which quickly became our favorite place, if you do go let Spiros, Hillary, Wendy and Sexy George know that Ben and Laura say hello! They are a very funny lot and amazingly friendly.
