Our third time in this place!
Always in Jan/Feb! And always for Wintersports.
We love it because it’s simple, clean, easy and affordable..
Somehow more a hostel than a hotel.

But........
The service sucks!
Check-in in a cold little room, the person was friendly, language was a challenge.
You’ll get your room ..... and that it! Everything else ..... you must ask for!

Breakfast - simple, Italien, but good. The Chinese folks next to us were pretty lost
Dinner - need to preorder. Actually reasonable good quality, but price increased from €10 pP to €25 pP —— so from cheap to relatively expensive.
And not good enough for that price.
Wine was good and fair in pricing.
The bar - not worth the name. Cold, no real service, does not welcome you.

The rooms were as we expected .... since we knew.
Simple, clean, big enough for our little family (3) and four nights.
Bathroom is clean and big enough, even with an extra window (few rooms only)

But WHY DO YOU SWITCH OFF THE HEATING MOST OF THE DAY?????????
And all night long????
It was freaky cold outside and pretty cold inside!
The whole place runs at low temperature in my eyes.
Don’t forget to bring warm cloth and socks.

Bottom line -we still love that place, but ....
Fire your management, hire professional service people, bring some atmosphere to the place (reception, rooms, bar, restaurant) and care about your guests - because that’s all you got!
I’m absolutely sure it will pay off!

Or turn the place into a real (youth) hostel - incl. the prices!

Fimily friendly, clean hotel. Calm and peacefull location. Natural park Tre Cime is 10 minutes away. We were there for hiking, great location.
Rooms are new and have a great view on the nature. Breakfast was included and is regular.

This hotel is off the beaten track and hard to find (in the dark).

The rooms we were allocated looked like they had been fully refurbished, simple, clean and comfortable.

The location is ideal for exploring the Dolomites by car, restaurants and tourist info all within a 10 minute drive.

We obviously visited in summer - but for skiers, I would guess this is a great budget friendly place to stay in the ski season.

The inclusive breakfast was good value and plenty of choice available.

Occasionally, the reception desk was not manned during the stipulated hours - but that aside - I cannot fault this bargain priced hotel.

Room tip: Our refurbished rooms were in a separate building to the rear of the main building

We were a bit uncertain about this hotel after booking. Despite its proximity to Cortina d´Ampezzo, they charged less then 500 EUR for 3 nights with half board for our family of 4 during the Christmas holidays, so in high season. As it turned out, this was extremely good value. We had a room with two bedrooms, a hall and a bathroom. Each bedroom with its own balcony. The hotel must recently have been done up because everything felt new and very clean. Very pleasant! Breakfast was quite OK, but dinner was a let down and needs to be improved. Big portions of simple food with no effort in presentation. Still, great value, fantastic spot in the Dolomiti in the middle of a forest but very close to Cortina and its attractions.

Not far fro the road to Cortina, you take the side road into the forest and reach the Croda Rossa hotel. it is a beautiful to stay, but quite far from anything else. Rooms were nice and clean with minimal decoration.

Room tip: Some rooms are bigger than others
