A very comfortable family run hotel, everyone always helpful, offers great food, and the chef creates really good and interesting dinners. Has a superb new wellness area, with saunas, steam rooms and swimming pool. Great location near the old town and all local facilities, superb views of the mountains from many of the rooms

Excellent Hotel for our group who really only needed B&B . Clean and comfortable with good breakfast choice. Nice feel to it. Family run and friendly. Ideal base to locate for the Dolomites. It is located in the centre of Dobbacio where there are lots of choices for Restaurants etc. Really lovely town.

Room tip: Rooms vary a lot in standard . Worth checking first and look for a room with balcony

Centrally located on the Main Street, not enough parking spots, so I parked two nights across the street at the ice cream parlor (great sundaes!).
We were warmly greeted in German until it became clear we don't speak German or Italian and then it was less friendly.
The room was the most sparsely furnished I have seen. The balcony is shared by all rooms on the floor (meaning anyone on the floor can walk by and look into your room through the glass door!)
No AC.
Bathroom with a hand shower in the the tub, and NO CURTAIN! So the entire room gets wet! No heating in the bathroom. (Or the room).
Tasty breakfast buffet.
Small indoor swimming pool and nice spa, at no cost.

As for the good
-The hotel has new nice sauna area.
-The rooms are rather clean
- dinner is big, but see below

As for the bad
- The house rules are strange. For example if you park in the garage you cannot get
into the car after 9 pm
- the management does not necessary feel you welcome
- in some of the rooms the bathroom is way too small
- the breakfast is rather poor with a very small number of options ( no vegetables, cheapest ham, after our inquiry we got eggs, but again cheapest coded 3)
- dinner was quite buff, but heavy and without vegetarian option

I think you can find better options in the area, but as for the price it was acceptable

We stayed here for one night before our AV1 hike. It's a small but comfortable hotel with clean rooms, comfortable beds, a friendly hostess and an extensive breakfast buffet and a decent wifi connection. Good location in the heart of Dobbiaco as well.
