Was told about the Saturday night meal and entertainment (dancing) and to be honest my first thought was not favoutrable. Was expecting your typical Turkish dancing i.e. belly dancer, people just jumping around, not very Turkish - basically tacky!

Oh boy how wrong was I!!!!

Food was tasty and very turkish. For starters you get about 8 different tasters, main is a choice of chicken or meatballs which is cooked via the BBQ oven in full view of the restaurant.

The entertainment is excellent. All were dressed in traditional attire and with the music and the setting you really feel Turkish and feel you are being entertained! At the end they invite anyone who wants to have a go and again is very entertaining and in no way tacky or feel uncomfortable.

Must book in advance and possible well in advance as they do get busy.

I know on our return next year we will be booking up straight away!!

Book on a Saturday night and for 25 Lira (about £8) you will get a traditional 3 course meal and entertainment in the form of local folk dancing. A really excellent value night out. Food was very good and entertainment great fun - audience participation encouraged at the end of the show complete with a kind of Turkich conga in the street!

Great food, all freshly cooked by the family matriarch. Daily specials all worth checking out. Everything we tried was excellent; my wife said the Sea Bass was the best she had ever tasted - worthy praise indeed. Minor quibble was the seats - some sort of 'leatherette'. Makes you sweat a bit, which is not nice! You can ask for a cushion, which will stop a damp bum!

Well worth a visit.

This restaurant for me says everything nice about Turkish Village Life. It really is a family run business and they have tried to keep it as authentic as possible. The food is always freshly cooked to order, it's very tastey and reasonably priced. The Saturday evening Turkish BBQ Night includes a caberet which gives you a rare opportunity to see some traditional Turkish dancing and sample some excellent Turkish mezzies, followed by a barbeque maincourse and a Turkish desert all for 25 lire, can't be bad.

We were staying at a villa just up the hill from the antik and had our first evening meal here. first class service and quality. they also have a turkish night once a week with traditional dancers, do not miss this great night and book in advance as it is very popular. the family"s son in law Mehmet has a bar/restaurant called Pasha which is straight down the road and over the small bridge from the Antik. we ate here quite a few times during our stayand it is also first class.the family are very nice people and could not do enough to help during our stay.visiting these places during your holiday is a must, you will not be disappointed!
