i have came back from the trip 2 years ago (went in dec 2010) and i still missed this place a lot, i will still go back again if possible.
grandpa, tomas and andreas are so nice and friendly, love them lots! and the huskies!
i went with another 2 friends and we stayed in a 6 person room, with 3 double deck beds, the room is spacious, way much better than other hostels which you cant walk anywhere but sit on the bed.
the best spot for the northern light is just nearby, there is no need to pay to join for any northern light tours, it's all FREE. there's even the winter clothes and shoes that you can use for keeping you warm when camping for the lights.
there's the kitchen shared by everyone, its a nice warm place to get around with other people. and there's the evening sauna which some might think twice during the first attempt but will definitely jump excitingly for it the next time.
