We stay in this hotel / house for 4 days with 4 family . We have 7 child. It was an amazing experience. The nature is so green and beautiful. The house is like an oasis in the village. The garden was very good. The night was another issue.
Owner of the house and workers are kind and helpful. Breakfast and dinner was delicious. It was an amazing experience for us. Thanks.
I strongly advise this hotel.

We arrived here by friday, late in the night, and the owner was waiting for us with the food ready. The first impression was made by an amazing porch with such a warm light, the night was so quiet, everything that we heard was the sound of crickets in the wet grass. We were able the book the most pleasant room, with a huge wall made of glass and a queen sized bed. The whole atmosphere was amazing by night.
In the morning, when you wake up, if you're lucky enough, you get a delightful bird song, and a perfect breakfast composed of cheese, fried eggs, home made jams, butter and fresh bread. During breakfast you get to know the activities you have to choose from to plan your rest of the day. We had chosen to get some bicycles and to ride the local tracks, which are amazing. The bikes are top performance, you get safety gear, and close atention of the owner if you get in trouble on the tracks, like flat-tires:)
On the track we got the chance to visit some old churches, with wooden structure.
When we got back to lodge we were waited with the bruch ready, we ate a wonderful salad with marinated cheese and some wonderful pasta, and dinner was made of beef-steak, perfectly cooked! Second day, we had the oportunity to ride the tracks with horses, and we had shooting the bow.
I think i just discovered "my new favourite place in town"!
If you're visiting Harghita-Brasov county, this is deffinetly a place to visit!!! Check out the pictures below!

Best regards,

The Bike Check Inn is a piece of paradise in the heart of Transylvania's Saxon Villages. The Inn was perfectly suited for our family of six with large comfortable bedrooms with ensuites, wonderful outdoor seating areas, large green space for the kids, and relaxed indoor lounge space as well.

It is an ideal base from which to visit other Saxon Villages by car or bicycle (provided by the host) or explore further afield-- Braşov and bear watching.

We enjoyed cycling as a family to another close by Saxon Village and our daughters enjoyed going out on a horse ride in the surrounding forest. Puppies were born on the first night we spent at the Inn so the children enjoyed checking in on them each day. Local children, who spoken both Romanian and German, came by to play. We were made to feel at home here.

Each morning we were treated to a delicious Romanian breakfast with eggs , meats, breads, homemade jams, as well as yogurt and muesli. Evening meals were three courses and more akin to gourmet restaurant fare than country cooking. See photos. Lunches are also available. Beers, wines, elderflower drink, coffee, herbal tea, and pálinka are available.

The hospitality shown to us by our host, Cornel, and his friends is not something we will forget. We feel we have made friends for life!

This Inn is a hidden treasure. If you are looking for a place to experience a "Real Romanian Village" this is the place. I cannot speak highly enough about this Inn or It's owner and staff!

5 stars is not enough!

Have been there with a large group of friends and we rented the entire place. Rooms are clean and large. The location is build old style to fit the area, but otherwise the fittings are new and nicely designed. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Multiple routes are available for biking and trail running.

Bike Check in is purpose made by bikers for bikers. The place is very good for people who want to do biking in the rolling hills of the Saxon part of Transylvania.
I stayed there 2 times in August 2016. First time with a group of biker friends and some time later alone. Bikes are for rent here.
The staff is very friendly, the home cooked local food is excellent preserved. Rooms are big and clean. I just loved the peace and quiet of the whole place. The place has easy access from the main road if you arrive by car. Bike pats goes out from the place is different directions.
Even if a main road with heavy traffic passes thru Bunesti, Bike Check In is located away from the main road and you will not hear any sound from the traffic.

Room tip: Perfect stop in the Saxon area of Transylvania. Quiet and peace full place.
