The hosts Peter and Pai ensure that your stay will be perfect as nothing is too much trouble with Peter picking you up, and dropping you off, at the airport and Pai cooking wonderful food. The chalets are very clean and dotted around the very pretty garden. There is a small pool, public computer with internet access, a pool table and a bar with an honesty book for noting down the drinks you have helped yourself to. Secret Gardens has a calm atmosphere and its so refreshing to stay in a place built on trust e.g. you dont have to lock the doors and you pay at the very end of your stay. Overall its excellent value for your money and I highly recommend staying there.

From being picked up (and dropped off) at the airport (or station) to organising tour trips, nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful hosts at secret garden. So refreshing to be surrounded by people you can trust, no locked doors, no official check in, honesty book at the bar. Accommodation is good, food even better. Had a great couple days enjoying all this in fantastic setting with the big city only a short taxi ride away. If you want some peace and quiet, 5* hospitality with fab food this the place for you!

In one word: this place is fantastic. Our best stay in Thailand! If you read all the other reviews, you find out why. I can only admit that the location is perfect, that the food is fantastic, that the bungalows are great and the hospitality is unrivaled. So if you´re planning to go to Chiang Mai (or even Thailand), let this be one of the highlights of you're trip as well.

I would highly recommend staying here if your thinking of visiting Chaing Mai. Although it is located out of the centre, it is very easy to get into town. I personally thought it was quite nice being able to escape the busy city centre and enjoyed the peace and quiet, and beautiful surroundings. Peter and Pai are very friendly and have done an admirable job of creating such a warm enviroment. This is definately the ONLY place to stay in Chaing Mai.
Thanks to Peter and Pai.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at The Secret Garden , arguably the most relaxing place we have ever stayed at.'
Peter and Pai are fantastic hosts and it really is their the genuine desire to do everything to make sure that this visit was perfect in every way.
The atmosphere is serene, the accomodation is charming and the food was terrific!
A wonderful find, far more appealing than just another Hotel and we will definitely return to The Secret Garden.
Thank you Peter and Pai
Jim
