This is a rural area and the accommodations are appropriate. The rooms are large, comfortable, and they include very nice ensuite baths.
The owner is a very lovely lady but she is assisted by her brusque and dismissive daughter. We asked about someplace to eat and she directed us to a town 17 miles away. Instead, when we took a walk through this village, we asked about dining and were directed to a very nice restaurant just yards away. When we mentioned this to the daughter when we returned, we were answered with a harrumph. The breakfast was OK as long as you don’t mind the daughter hovering and anxious for you to finish.
This would have been a much better visit if the daughter was simply not there. But because she was, our visit was a disappointment. This is a lovely area and the townspeople are delightful. If we could be assured that the owner, and not her daughter, would be around, we would certainly return.More
