“A gem of a holiday park”
Reviewed May 18, 2013

Just got back from a week at Tralee Bay & my wife & I have only great things to say about the park. We stayed in Mull Lodge & the standard was excellent, the cleanliness was 100% & the bathroom & shower were a pleasure. there was a flat screen TV in the living room with freeview which I believe nowadays is a must. You wanted for nothing in the kitchen & the central heating was lovely & warm. I mention the heating because the weather was not very good with torrential rain at times, but we can't blame the owners for that. The view from Mull lodge was beautiful looking out onto the bay. Something we are chuffed with Tralee Bay is the fact they are so Dog friendly & within a few minutes you are onto a lovely beach. Just to add Mull lodge is a 3 star lodge but we would give it more. We would not hesitate to recommend Tralee Bay Park to anyone, it is beautiful!

Ive just returned from a stay at the Tralee Bay lodges, we hired a Willows 3 bedroom and it was briallint for the 5 of us. The are is gorgeous and our 2 year old loved the walks and getting down to the beach. There are a lot of dog walkers, and my daighter was knocked over twice but bounding dogs near the play park which was a little annoying.
Great resting spot if you want to travel to Mull and such like. You do need transport (if you have kids!) and want to get to soft play, swimming, restaurants as it is quite isolated.

Only recently started coming here, 3 years now and never disappointed, ideal for pets as well and close to Oban to the south and just up the road the sea life center.
An ideal location for touring the west coast an hours drive north take`s you to Fort William if that`s what your after or just relaxing and enjoying the view`s and beach.

Room Tip: Lodges, caravans and studio cottage`s all clean and well stocked the choice is yours

I have came to Tralee for the past 47 years as a child, teenager, parent and soon to be grandparent. While myself and the park have changed dramatically over the years it's appeal has never waned. A friendly family run business with excellent facilities in a stunning location. A must visit place for anyone looking for accommodation on the picturesque Scottish West coast.

Room Tip: Best views from the 3 star lodges at the front although groups of adults might prefer the Woods or W...

Just back from another midweek break at Tralee and we were allocated a new caravan that was pet friendly so Murphy the dog was on the trip.

Site was extremely clean again, staff very friendly and helpful giving valuable pointers on local attractions and the weather was good again for the time of year.

The caravan was of a high standard and the central heating helped to ensure the kids were warm at night.

My only criticism is having to leave by 9.30am and not being able to book into until 4pm.

But, just a wonderful place to visit and stay.

Room Tip: check the site map on line - we stayed in caravan 19 - the nearest caravans to the beach

We've stayed here many times over the past few years, mainly in the Lodges but due to lack of availablitiy (lack of planning on my part) we stayed in one of the static caravans for a week at the start of April. First time staying in a Static caravan in years, obviously smaller than the lodges but very well appointed and spotlessly clean. Lovely views and only minutes walk from the beach. For us this is a real feature of the park. I was there with my wife, daughter and dog and we all love it.

The park itself is very well kept and thankfully dog owners tend to clean up after their pets. (amble bins provided)

The owners of the site seem to be constantly striving to improve the place with new tracks created which provide nice walks\cycles. There is also a wide variety of activities available nearby for kids.

The Oban - Ballahulish cycle track also passes through nearby Benderloch. Oban is also only 10miles away.

Only slight frustration was the wi-fi connection seemed to be hit and miss in the caravan.

All in another fantastic holiday!

15th March 2013

Just back from a 3 night break in a lodge ( woods 1) great accommodation, clean spacious and fabulous views. Tralee deserve a gold medal for all the hard work they put into making this the most beautiful park to visit in Scotland, wonderful views, friendly staff, an amazing beach and lovely walks all on the doorstep. The beach is a great place to tire the dogs out! I couldn't think of a nicer place to spend my 50th birthday so thank you for all the secret phone calls with my daughter, helping her to arrange flowers, banners and balloons for my arrival. Can't wait until our next visit :)

We all had a great time...dogs included!
