It has great history and beautiful building and sights, I recommend u to go on a green season coz at winter and fall its not THAT pretty. It's good anyway. The food is good too. It's just u have to walk a lot to get up there and it has lots of stairs to climb but I worth it i assure u. Enjoy

“'Exceptionally Beautiful'”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

During my recent visit to Iran I was lucky enough to find the time to visit Shahzadeh Garden, also known as Prince Garden. Situated six kilometres from the centre of Mahan, thirty-five kilometres from the city of Kerman, the 5.5 hectare gardens sit on a hillside, beneath the Joopar Mountains, a sanctuary of green, surrounded by a desert landscape.

Cold weather, overcast skies, the first winter snow coating the mountains, did not detract from the visual splendour on entering the lower gardens. Inside the garden walls, deciduous trees glowing in autumnal colours and deepest green conifers blocked the outside world from view, creating a sanctuary of peace and tranquility. A stream flows down a series of terraced water pools, fountains and cascades, which run from the upper gardens to the lower. The upper gardens have a residential building, the lower gardens a gate and attractive entrance structure with an open-air columned upper storey and tile-work.

There are many beautiful gardens in Iran, all of them worth visiting however Shahzadeh is something special and definitely worth a visit in any season. Bagh-e Shahzadeh is the 9th Persian Garden to attain World Heritage Listing in 2011.

“wow! beautiful garden in desert !”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

It was incredible when you see a beautiful garden in the desert ! Especially in spring and summer! if you go to kerman don't miss it .it's located near (6km away from) Mahan in Kerman .The garden is a fine example of Persian gardens that take advantage of suitable natural climate with lots of beautiful fountain.this garden was in silk road and it means Prince’s Garden .
you can serve traditional meals there .

“Lovely gardens with a nice restaurant in back”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

This is located outside of Mahan and not too far from Kerman. It is a lovely setting with an old (unused) palace at the end of Gardens. There is a restaurant off to the side which had very good food.
