We stayed only one night here in early October this year and enjoyed it so much were sorry we hadn't booked an additional night or two.Emmanuel and his partner couldnot have been more helpful had they tried .They advised us where to dine and then drove us out there, they drove us to see Le Courboisier's chapel one more time when it appeared we were running out of time and the individual rooms were attractive and comfortable while the breakfast was v.good too.And it was reasonably priced.

We decided on Ronchamp as a spur of the moment thing on our way to Italy. We wanted to see the Chapelle de Notre Dame. Him indoors (the architect) has been whetting my appetite for this Corbusian delectation for years! That too exceeded expectations.
However, the gem that was la Maison du Parc was really unexpected. Beautifully appointed in all aspects, but not, according to Emmanuel, finished or up to his very exacting standards yet. I hope it never is, as in my eyes perfection that he strives to exceed it going to be something.
It felt like home and he welcomed you to his home and made you comfortable. The furnishings were delightful, gosh I could go on and on but I think most of its probably been said.
Important warning though if you book this place book dinner at the same time. When we booked it said we could book dinner on arrival and this was not the case. And I believe a dinner cooked there would have been to die for if breakfast was anything to go by.
We left vowing to come back. I certainly hope we do!

Room Tip: Any room would be good!

This small Hotel / B&B in Ronchamp is beautifully decorated with attention to every detail. Each room is individually styled and decorated. We arrived a bit earlier than the 5pm check in time after visiting the chapel of Notre Dame du Haut by Le Corbusier (worth the trip), but were accommodated with a very friendly welcome. We were offered tea and coffee on arrival. Our room was in the attic on the third floor (no lift).
We had not included dinner in our booking so cannot comment on the evening meal available as this needs to be confirmed ahead of time. The beds are really comfortable (slept for 12 hours!) and the room we had looked out over the little river that runs next to the house.
The breakfast table was set with silver cutlery and the continental breakfast spread was mouthwatering. The cold meats and cheese are of the highest quality and the selection of breads and pastries really fresh.

Room Tip: If you are wanting internet access in your room then ask for a room on a lower floor or use the sitt...

I can't say enough good things about this place. We booked it based on reviews on Trip Advisor but it far exceeded our expectations. The rooms are beautiful, the bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept on, the bathroom was luxurious, the grounds were lovely, the breakfast was delicious and Emanuel was the perfect host.

So we had heard that this place was getting extraordinary reviews and we wanted to take time visiting the Chapelle so what better way to be prepared but to stay here.
The building was charming. The room was charming. The owner was charming (or should I not be saying "tres charmant") even the dog (Stephen) was charming !

Room Tip: Take a catapult to shoot the male youth on his scooter who insisted on revving it up to impress his...

We spent 2 nights here on our recent trip to France and we will dream about it for a long time to come. The setting of this gorgeous mansion is beautiful. It has a creek right beside it, a magnificent garden, and views of Notre Dame du Haut. Emanuel is a superb host .He drove us up to the chapel and to the station, he baked for us, made suggestions about nearby attractions and did everything possible to make us feel welcome. But best of all is the way he and Mark have decorated this exquisite home. The attention to detail is extraordinary. It is a treat to stay here.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
This guesthouse/B&B is exceptionally clean, comfortable and elegant. The host Emmanuel Georges is extremely helpful and welcoming allowing us to take advantage of the delightful living rooms and beautiful gardens. The architectural jewel of Le Corbusier 'La Chapelle Notre Dame du Haute" can be seen from the garden and is a must visit in Ronchamp. Our kind host directed us to a superb local restaurant and provided us with a marvellous breakfast the following morning. This is the first review I have done but due to our marvellous time there I felt I wanted to share this experience. ... more   less
