Hotel was very good, could not fault the staff in any way. The only problem we had was that the room was very hot, the ac was on but wasn't good enough for the room size. Fans had been provided but just seemed to push the hot air around. Room was cooler without them on. Stayed the night of 19th July 13

My friend and I stayed here for one night while visiting London for the weekend. The rooms were very comfortable although the air con didnt do much on what was the hottest day of the year! The staff were all very friendly and helpful from the check in to the bar and restaurant. We had paid to include dinner and breakfast an extra £22 each and it was well worth it. We had a 3 course meal with a drink included. Prawn coctail excellent, rump steak good, curry was supposed to be medium but this needs to say hot! Lemon meringue ice cream desert nice. Breakfast had everything you could wish for too. Didnt take too long from central London to get to Gunnersbury where we decided to get a taxi which cost £7 and glad we did as was quite a long walk with cases, am sure it is further than the info says. Got taxi next morning to South Ealing £8 so we could go straight into Covent Garden. Nothing much around the hotel to walk to that we could see but all you need was inside.

Room Tip: Our room was at the back so very quiete, may be bit noisy by the road at the front.

Booked 2 rooms for a two nights stay in June. The rooms were unbearably hot, both with totally useless Air con unit and fans which were noisy and ineffective. No working extractor in the bathroom and poorly flushing toilet and sink plug jammed. The double bed was twin beds pushed together with a sheet over the top leading to an uncomfortable nights sleep. Decided to opt for breakfast on the first day for speed, only to be faced with 4 day out of date yoghurts. Who knows what else. We decide to complain and were given a story about planning permission not being granted for the upgrade of the Air Con - not a lot of help to us. Were offered a move to a room with a proper double bed in for the next night as long as we packed our belongings. When we raised the issue of the food - we were advised to go back to rooms where the manager would come and see us in 10 mins after an investigation. Waited for half an hour - nothing. Despite numerous talks with reception over the stay- no explanation given. I have also written to premier Inn Customer Relations twice and still no feedback.

Room Tip: Book another hotel

Stayed overnight on 14th July which was a very hot day. The room had an air conditioning unit and a fan which were not very effective. You could also clearly hear the people in the room above walking around. Having said that for £49 room only for the two of us I suppose you can't really complain. The hotel is in a great location however for Kew Gardens and the room was a fair size. The bed was pretty comfortable too.

Off to Kew the Music. Was greeted by hot, busy staff who never stopped smiling. Big thanks to VISHAL think thats right, sorry if not. He was a wonderful host after arriving at near boiling point with the heatwave and a heinous car journey. Check in made simple, fast and friendly despite loads of people in reception. Our room was immaculately clean, smelt fresh and lovely.

Accessibility to parking and Kew was superb, i have mobility issues so for me this is super important!

Our room was a bit too hot even with fan but we were on forth floor on an exceptionally hot day so can hardly say thats a negative.

Decent size bath, again important for me and my mobility so a good old soak in the morning got me going just right for the day. Breakfast was Devine, met the chef which was a treat he was another smiler.

Its all good as far as we were concerned.

Over the years we have used the competitor .......... Wont be happening again! Although a fraction more to stay at Premier, so worth the little bit more.

I slept like a log and thats unheard of with me, usually up and down like a yoyo but i was so comfy, straight through the night.

Thank you to the staff, all were happy and helpful which on such a scorching day is hard, even in the best natured person. Well done to all.

Room Tip: Very hot days maybe worth asking if a room on a lower floor is available
