I stayed at the hotel during my business trip to Surgut in February 2012. The hotel is not big as I expected and reminds me soviet era. There are a lot of flags with stars. The hotel is located in suburbs of Surgut and if you want to visit a city center you should take a taxi (cub).
I did not like how the management set up smoking areas in the hotel. They put them on the each floor in front of the elevators. And if you are not a smoker it is difficult for you to pass these areas. During my stay I always took stairs – it helped me to avoid these areas and be healthier.
The room was clean and comfortable. There were fresh fruits on the table and two bottles of water – a welcome gift. All furniture and equipment are in a good condition and well maintained. There is free wi-fi access to the internet in the room. Login and password to the internet were given by receptionist.
Breakfast is good and served on the first floor of the hotel.
Try to have a dinner at the restaurant on the fourth floor. There are a lot of foods from Russian and Siberian cuisine you could not have a chance to try in Moscow or St. Petersburg restaurants.More
