I spent 3 days at the Villa Cassia Di Baccano back in June with my wife and young daughter (18 months) and loved it, I hope to go back some day. The villa itself is stunning, particularly the outdoor area with the gardens and swimming pool. The rooms were great, with charming older style details, kept perfectly clean and well functioning. What stood out, even above these areas, was the amazingly friendly service. It was no bother to accommodate my late arrival, serve breakfast late the next morning nor help me out when I hurt my back mid stay.
The only minor things that I could mention would be there's no internet in the rooms, you need to go downstairs to the common room (it didn't bother me).
It's typically a bit of a drive to reach attractions in the regions, e.g. ef you are staying in the area to visit 'The Mall' , in Leccio Reggello, it's about 40 minutes away. Nearby Arezzo was a surprise for me, very charming and surprisingly it had very few tourists when visiting in June, a great option for dinner and walking around the plazas.
Overall I highly recommend.More
