This flight was fantastic. Our pilot was Lukas Mangold and he did a terrific job. We really enjoyed it and the commentary by Lukas was fantastic. He had a lot of knowledge about the area.
Would highly recommend it.

Brent was our pilot, and even though he had only been there a couple of months his knowledge of Kakadu was outstanding. A great flight (we did the 1 hour over Jim Jim and Twin Falls) was awesome. It was a bit bumpy at times - not much Brent could do about that but he did go to higher altitude to try and avoid them where he could. Even our 10 month old had a great time!! Great flight, well worth it. Really glad we went. Thanks to the Scenic flight company.

We flew with Lukas on a 1 hour flight. The veiws of the escarpment and the falls were amazing. He ensured that he angled the plane so that I had the best photo opportunities. It was great to learn about the history too! You just need a few kiwi jokes for Lukas!

We chose the 1hr 45min flight. Wow, it was fantastic. The flight could've been a disaster for me with motion sickness, but Alex our pilot took great care and altered altitude for a much smoother ride. To see the falls, wetlands, and range formations from the air was awesome and well worth the money. A must do for everyone who visits the area as it caps off the whole picture and appreciation for Kakadu.

Australia is a magical continent with incredible perspectives. The aim of this review is to illustrate the mind-blowing,ogling,wide-mouth experience had fro up,up in the blue yonder.

Lets get this straight. In the dry,the land is a desert,in the wet, from November-May,the land is a lake. Like all of the Top End, Kakadu National park is dominated by the seasons, and i am informed by our pilot, over the cacophony of the engine noise, that the great brooding line of Arnham Land escarpment down which tumble the creeks that give rise to the rivers of the lowlands.

From the air,Kakadu is an impressive mosaic: blue rivers snaking through two metre-high spear grass, open eucalyptus woodlands and paperbark forests to the tidal flats. Seeing groups of buffaloes bright against the ground with flocks of birds wheeling into the trees,is an unparalleled sight.

Our genial pilot informed us that biologically, the area is one of the richest regions in Oz,a wilderness of diverse ecosystems. It has also the most varied rock art galleries ,some of the paintings dating back an estimated 20,000 years or more, making them amongst the most ancient in the world.
