We went on the Discoverer day tour option but there are lots of other options for walks/cruises/sight seeing etc. This option included cruise from Kaiteriteri all the way to the top of the park with a look at seals on the way up and then on return journey drop off at Medlands bay and my partner and myself walked back to Anchorage bay which they advise takes about 3.5 hours. We took a side track first to walk round to Bark bay and see the waterfall on the footbridge. The Abel Tasman coastal track is stunning and I definitely recommend a walk even it is a small one! Sandfly bay off the track is amazing and definitely worth the tricky trek down to the beach. We caught the later ferry back at 4.45pm which I would recommend to give you more time for photo's and lunch etc. The crew on the shuttle were very friendly and helpful and good commentary on the way round. The shuttle conducts many stops off which means a closer look at some of the bays. The boats design is good too and the ladder onto the sand means no wet shoes! Toilet and small snacks/drinks available on board.
