Neptune was ideal for our August Bank Holiday weekend.
A comfortable clean bungalow in a quiet and safe location with easy access to other east coast resorts.
The beach at Anderby Creek is amazing. For anyone with children it is the original beach holiday from years ago, unspoilt by commercial development.
We had a great time and visited Sutton on Sea, no amusements, lovely atmosphere and again a great beach.
Mablethorpe is the place to go for amusements and fairground type activities and again a great beach.
A good time was had by all..
Very nice p!ace, clean and very tidy throughout, garden is a lovely little sun trap,my only gripe was the WiFi does not work, all in all had a lovely holiday in a lovely place with beautiful weather, can't be bad.
On arriving, everything we needed to get by was there, loved the welcome pack thank you very much. The location is excellent, the standard of accommodation first class, and was also warm and cosy (outside temperatures ranged from 9 to 20 degrees) with a safe garden. There is a short walk without any roads to the beach. A small shop, cafe and bar is also nearby. Dogs with responsible owners are welcome nearly everywhere but it is always wise to ask first. Skegness, Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe are all within easy reach. We cant thank you enough for giving us this first opportunity to go on holiday with our two border terriers who are getting on in years but we now wish we had done it sooner!
We loved our stay at Waves. The bungalow has everything you could need and more. There was a welcome basket of local breads and jams and other little touches that made Waves stand out.The garden is enclosed which was perfect for our dog. We were lucky that the sun was shining so we were able to take advantage of the garden furniture. Thank you Julie for a wonderful relaxing stay
Our first visit but definitely not our last. A beautiful little bungalow, very tastefully decorated and lovely landscaped private garden. Very close to the beach and local bars. A lovely welcome pack on arrival was much appreciated. Most importantly, the whole place was absolutely spotlessly clean. Just perfect!
out of the way of the tourist parts but close enough if you want to be a tourist. there are lots of nearby villages worthy of a visit. Alford windmill serves lovely homemade cakes, and the village buzzes when there is an event on at the museum. the beaches near Neptune are clean and lovely to walk along and our dogs love it as much as we do.
