“Great place to visit”
Reviewed June 3, 2013 via mobile

This was a real surprise. Spent nearly two hours here. It's not all about the seals, there is so much more wildlife to see, all in a great cause.

Regarding the few negative comments on here. This is not a sea life centre, and you don't pay sea life centre prices. It is what is says.

Keep up the great work, we loved this.

“A Brilliant Sanctuary”
Reviewed June 3, 2013 via mobile

My family and I visited the Seal Sanctuary yesterday, it was absolutely brilliant, not only did we get to see the rescued/injured seals we saw many other animals that they look after there. We were very fortunate because we went later in the day we were able to see most of the animals being fed this was brilliant the kids loved it and so did I.

The gardens are lovely, and well kept some lovely places to sit down and enjoy the space and sounds. I was totally amazed how big it was, its well planed out and plenty to look at and find. So much hard work has been put into the Sanctuary, and without these guys, many of the animals they care for would probably not have survived.

They have a education room, which gives a video on some of the seals they have rescued, its great to see what they do! Hats off to you guys and all the volunteers that work there!

I would highly recommend everyone to take a visit it isn't expensive either and not forgetting its a Sanctuary for the sick/rescued and injured animals, so a brilliant way to know that in some way you have helped the animals by visiting and the money you pay goes to help protect and feed them!

Keep up the good work and we will be back!

Fantastic informative fun for all ages. Not just seals lots of other animals to see. Not a massive place but take your time plenty to see and learn. Watch the meerkat, seals and lynx fed.
