I had to go to Spain to sort out things, take delivery of furniture etc. regarding our newly acquired apartment and needed a hotel nearby to lawyers/ banks/and apartment. Los Narejos fitted the bill perfectly. This hotel with its a local bar and a very reasonably priced charming restaurant serving good food, meant I did not have to travel far at all! Without my wife with me allied to the RAIN ! I did not feel like going far to eat especially during this time of year with places closed. For value for money and convenience this family run, friendly hotel I think takes some beating. And I would stay again - definitely.

We used this hotel to fill a two day gap after our apartment rental ended and before the flight home. The family who ran it were lovely, especially Gran who even drove us to the airport when we left and wouldn't accept a tip. We arrived dead on check in time, midday, to find our room was ready but the floor was wet because it had just been washed. The proprietor said we could go up but suggested we wait in the bar for 10 minutes, so we ordered a coffee each and he wouldn't accept payment. Our room was a good size double, with a bathroom, television, kettle, quiet air conditioning and a balcony. It was clean and the beds very comfortable. The beach was not very far away, within easy walking distance for us but maybe not for old people. It served our purposes exactly and the breakfasts (included in our price) were adequate for hot weather (28-30C while we were there); large toasted croissant or bread, butter, jam and coffee. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you want a clean, comfortable room, friendly service and aren't bothered by the 'extras' that are required for more stars.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the square, rather than the main street, so was very quiet at night.

I haven't stayed at the hotel but the restaurant is worth visiting if you're in the area. We had the cheese plate to share, which was to die for - 6 different cheeses, plus little bits of veg and quince jelly. Pigs' cheeks in prune sauce was one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. It's just off the main strip so is easy to miss, but definitely make the effort to find it,
