Reviewed November 10, 2012

Second visit this year, in September took my elderly parents there for a holiday, needed a wheelchair, the hotel helped me organise this. We decided on a family room as this has two bedrooms and lounge and bathroom, with a large balcony overlooking the pool and sea views. Everyone really enjoyed their stay here, you can relax and enjoy and it is so easy for disabled people to get around the hotel and also down to the beach and all along the promenade into cafes and bars, no problems at all. It was a lovely relaxing time for us all and we enjoyed the evenings entertainment each evening, music and dancing with a lovely mix of people. Happy hour in the bar was a great idea we were able to try out cocktails for E2.00, very nice too. The food as always is fantastic the choice could not be beaten, all fresh fruits and salads, always fish on the menu and of course meats, so much choice you can not try everything while you are there and we stayed for 5 days. The staff as always so helpful and friendly and they can not do enough for you.
Also went in October with a friend and again we had a great time at the hotel, enjoyed the Spa and a massage and even tried out the gym. Looking forward to going again next year!

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool are exceptional

The hotel is centrally located to everything so that's great.
It wasn't overly busy when we were here but would say if it was the pool area wouldn't be big enough to cater for everyone but the beach is only a short walk.
It has spa facilities but never had time to use them.
Would say though definatley more for adults.

This is an excellent 4 star hotel about 10 minutes from San Javier Airport.Large, very clean rooms with balcony. The food selection and quality is very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. It suits both mature holidaymakers and families with young children. There are two outdoor pools with plenty sunbeds, and pool towels are available at reception for a nominal refundable deposit. It is a short distance from the beach and miles of promenade. For those who wish to go on B & B basis there are several good restaurants closeby. We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 night stay and plan to return again.

Room Tip: Choose higher floors, facing pool.

This hotel is in a quiet area just 10 mins from San Javier Airport. It is seconds from the most beautiful beach you will ever find. It is on the Mar Menor. The hotel is the most friendly place I have ever stayed. The staff go over and above their duties to make you welcome, comfortable and have an enjoyable stay.
The cleanliness is second to none and the food is excellent. The range of choice is amazing.
Breakfast consists of fresh fruit, cereals, several types of bread, juices, cold platters, bacon, eggs, fried and scrambled!! beans, mushrooms, tomatoes etc..
Dinner has such a huge range of salads, soups, pastas, fish, meats etc., etc., you would have trouble making a choice!!
The entertainment is varied to suit young and old.
I would recommend this Hotel to anyone seeking a relaxing enjoyable and excellent value holiday. Mary Byrne

Room Tip: We were lucky to have a sea view and a beautiful room.

I have been contacted by friends whos have seen a bad review for this Hotel ! They wanted to reserve for May 2013. I have now read that review myself and just as the title says "Some people cannot be pleased " !!
I can ASSURE you that the breakfast in this hotel is definitely 4 star . Perhaps the reviewer (SNAWBA) expected a Michelin Star breakfast for hamburger price ?
There is an extremely large variety of hot and cold food for breakfast, together with a vast array of cereals, breads, FRESH fruits, yogurts etc.
How many ways do they expect eggs to be cooked ?

The variety for dinner is equally acceptable.
I cannot understand how some people complain when as you will see , hundreds of other people write good reviews and deservedly so.!!

I can only say again that we have travelled to many countries and Hotels and we have not found it's equal for value, courtesy, cleanliness and friendly staff. (Free wifi now available in rooms.)

We are actually spending the final days of our holiday again here, leaving on Oct.27th and will be reserving again for May!

Room Tip: It is well worth paying the supplements for the large terrace with sunbeds or for the sea/pool view...

My wife and I are recently returned from a week's stay on a half-board basis. This hotel is ranked number one of those in the area, and I can see why. It is perfectly positioned between the sea and the main plaza in the area. For those seeking a quiet holiday, it is perfect. Perfect too for families with young children - the hotel's ethos, the kiddy pool and the very clean and safe bathing areas along the adjacent miles of seafront assure this. A feature of the area is the absolutely flat nature of the 'promenade', which is widely used for leisurely walks and by unhurried cyclists. If you seek an exciting night-life, then stay away. In fact, outside of the high season which runs from May to September, this resort is eerily quiet.
The hotel's literature proclaims that it wants to be 'a home from home' and in our experience it achieves this. There is a relaxed air about the place. Staff are efficient, friendly and unobtrusive. They seem interested and happy in their work (particularly noticeable in the dining room) and this quickly rubs off on patrons.
The buffet breakfast and evening dinner were pleasant experiences, with no pressure on seating spaces and a good selection. Not haut cuisine, but fresh - the salads are delightful - regularly replinished, and with plentiful 'healthy options'. Only the cereals and breads were below what might reasonably be expected.
The rooms and bathrooms are large, pleasantly decorated and cleaned daily..A minor crib is that there is just one 'easy' chair, which doubles as a fold-out bed. As a chair it is not the most comfortable. The small balcony had a table and two good quality patio chairs.
The hotel's main pool is small, but there is plentiful poolside seating and a separate kiddies pool. We visited the Spa, but didn't partake of any of the treatments which were quite expensive. The Gym is poorly equipped with poor quality equipment that needs a little attention. Our biggest bugbear - the cards to the doors. There appears to be a general problem with them, i.e. one has to bend them a little as they are being inserted as otherwise they won't work - annoying for the new arrivals, but 'quaint' when you get used to them! The foyer, bar, etc. are nothing special, but they are comfortable and relaxing spaces. This is not a pretentious hotel, and might not attract four stars elsewhere; some might regard it as a little drab. BUT, it provides unbeatable value for money, the best location in the area, good food, a friendly workforce who are genuinely interested in ensuring that those staying there have a good experience. We strongly recommend it.

Room Tip: The hotel is U-shaped, with the 'arms' pointing towards the sea which is about 300meters awa...
