Stayed here with a colleague for business. Previously had a bad experience at another B and B near by. Armada was excellent very friendly and helpful. Throughout was top class decor - I have stayed in 3 star hotels that are not as good. Would recommend without hesitation.

Stayed for one night. Lovely guesthouse, spotlessly clean and the owner was very helpful and friendly. Great nights sleep, no noise whatsoever. We just felt the breakfast time was a little early at 7am-8am...we were on a leisure trip and thought that a more reasonable breakfast time would have been 7am-9am.

Room Tip: Standard double is on the small side...choose a superior double

We stayed for one night, it was extremely well presented and spotlessly clean. The choice of breakfast was very good, we had the full english, it was great, beautifully cooked and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Working in the area for a few weeks, the Armada was recommended by a colleague. Excellent value for money in a very professionally run (by Gill and John) and welcoming house. The quality and décor were fresh and spotless, with a heating system that actually warmed your room - unlike a lot of other places where the heating is at a minimum. I stayed in a single en-suite which was very comfortable and functional with very good facilities. I enjoyed the mix of people like myself who were in the area for work with people who were there to visit, with a good age range. The breakfast room and breakfast itself was first class - not many b+b's have staff in Chef's uniform !!! Highly recommended.

Room Tip: None - you'll be happy whichever room you have !

Stayed here a year ago, but sitting in a hotel In sofia I decided to write reviews of everywhere I can remember that I have stayed! Friendly owners and a modern well presented guest house situated not far from the sea in Redcar. Rooms were spacious and very clean, bathrooms the same, the owners had made a lot of the room interiors themsleves and it all looks very nice. Breakfast was substantial and fresh, set us up for the day.
If we are in the area we would definately stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 weeks in December 2013, as we were working nearby. The hotel is beautiful inside with all new fixtures and fittings. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Being a contractor I spend most of my life in hotels and B&B's and have seen the best and worst of the industry and can quite honestly say that this falls into the 'Best' category! Jill is wonderful and can't do enough for you. The breakfast is to die for and the choice is huge! I recommend the scrambled eggs! The lady who does breakfast is lovely and will keep you topped up till with everything till you literally cannot eat anymore!
This is a guest house I will definitely be coming back too when I work this way again and, probably a guest house I will make an effort to bring my family to as well.
Just to top it off, the day we checked out (19/12/13), after being here 3 weeks only, we were presented with a bottle of quality wine as a Christmas present. It's that small token of gratitude that will keep me coming back time and again!

Recently stayed at the Armada Guesthouse for three weeks while working away from home. Great location first of all, only ten minutes from where we were working. Two minutes walk into Redcar town centre and also two minutes to the sea front.

Made to feel very welcome by Jill each week and nice to be able to come back to a clean and we'll looked after place after a hard days work. The rooms have everything you need and the place is very well maintained.

Great breakfast first thing in the morning to fuel you up for the day and obviously shown in the way it is prepared and served, full English breakfast without the food swimming in grease like you'd see in other places. There is an obvious amount of pride and passion from the owners and this is felt throughout. Was made to feel very welcome, which is exactly what is needed when working away from home.

If ever up this way again then will defiantly be staying here and would recommend to anybody visiting the area to do the same.

Thank You
