Lovely couple of cottages tucked away in Shropshire. Child friendly, pet friendly and very welcoming - who can say 'no' a slice of lemon drizzle cake after a long day's travel. Beautifully set out, the cottage wants for nothing, even a free basket of logs for the log burner and a pint of milk for a cup of tea were provided. Lots of interesting walks in the area from mystic stones to energetic walks across the Long Mynd. After all the walking the extremely comfortable and spacious bed is very welcome! A good local pub (The Stables) is worth a visit.
All in all an absolute gem! Thank you Jo.
Excellent location for exploring the Shropshire hills. Lovely home baked Lemon cake and decorated Christmas tree provided by Jo a really nice touch.
The cottage is comfortable, clean, in a superb location and has a wonderful log burner for those cold evenings. Would definitely recommend this cottage to others.
Perched on top of a hill with lovely views. Walking path out of the gate at bottom of field handy to walk up the hill for more views or along to the local shop and post office for supplies. Cottage well fitted out and cosy. Welcome treat of lemon drizzle cake on arrival. Bonus of owner's homemade jams available for purchase

Booked a last minute break away to Curlew cottage and had such a lovely time.
The cottage was in a fantastic location and had lovely little touches to make our stay relaxing- it was like a home from home.
We had a tasty homemade lemon drizzle cake waiting for us when we arrived and enjoyed relaxing in front of the log burner each night after our day of walking.
Will definitely be booking another break away here soon and would recommend it too.
Thank you for short notice booking, very relaxing weekend away, cottage superb in a fabulous setting.
Lovely cottage with everything you would need for a perfect break. It is situated in the middle of farmland so be prepared to open and close farm gates! Also the road leading to it is a bit scary as its single track up a hill. Well worth it for the view though!
Great cottage, very cosy, very well equipped it literally has everything great landlady nothing is too much trouble and the cake on arrival was mouthwatering. Already booked to go again
Well worth a stay or two
