We caled in on a Saturday night as we hadnt booked at the pub up the road (the one that brews its own excellent beer) but they could not fit us in. A bit apprehensive at first as no one else appeared to be dining but we were soon joined by other diners, including a couple who had booked at the other place but had to wait so gave up.
Very good food, very reasonable prices and attentive staff. The atmosphere was relaxed and nothing was too much trouble. Some imaginative items on the menu with good flavour combinations from an adventurous chef. The portions are big which meant two courses was about my limit.
Would definately visit again
