We've been coming to this pub for many years as it is in a lovely position in the middle of a very rural Shropshire village and is delightful inside. They can get busy at the weekends but we were all a little disappointed by the food - the menu is maybe a bit too extensive and therefore the food doesn't have so much attention but the roast beef was rather tough and tasteless, the pheasant was a little dry and chewy and the duck a bit tough. The steak pie was good though and the garlic bread, the best ever. Will be back but may stick to the pies..
