We rented kayaks from here but would have loved to stay in any of their rental properties.

Everything was so quaint and relaxing, but not exactly luxurious.
There were many fountains and island themed decor to add to the mystique.

Rentals were simple and we had not made reservations. Note that kayaks had to be back by 4:30pm which we hadn't known prior to renting.

All in all we would love to come back and experience more of Mary Lee's hospitality.

We did not stay here but visited twice during our trip to Puerto Rico. We paid $10 pp and were shuttled to Guilligan's Island on their boat. They loaned us 2 snorkeling masks at no charge and picked us up immediately when we called to return from the island. Everyone we talked with was very friendly and helpful.

We had such a great time at this place! Got lucky and were able to stay in Pacifica with family and friends- a roomy and fun place to entertain. Right on the water, kayaked to Guillagan's Island across the way, visited several mangroves and snorkeled to our heart's content. Sad to leave it but know we'll be back.

Room Tip: From what I can tell all of the cottages are great, but we really loved staying in Pacifica. Nice breezy deck overlooking the water.

When we arrived at Mary Lee's by the Sea, Susie directed us to our apartment. And although I had looked at the hotel website many times, I was totally amazed by our apartment. It was HUGE! The website does not begin to do justice to these accommodations. We were in the Contenta apartment. It had a big living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. That was just the inside. We also had a large patio with 4 chairs, a table and 2 lounge chairs. And then there was another table and chairs next to our barbecue. In all, I counted available seating for 30+ people!

We had a beautiful view of the water from both inside and outside of our apartment. We could see the boats that were moored there as well as passing boat traffic. Our kitchen was well equipped with everything you might need to do some cooking. There is also a washer and dryer available for your use, and it's free!

We spent a day at Gilligan's Island. It was an amazing experience, don't miss it. Susie arranged transportation for us both ways, $8 per person.

Is Mary Lee's by the Sea a ritzy place! No, definately not, so if you are looking for 5 star accommodations, this is not for you. But if you are interested in a friendly hotel with a funky vibe, you'll be very happy here.

Room Tip: Be sure to get an apartment with an ocean view.

Great location, on the water, and great floor plan. The internet is reasonably good.

However, if you want a place that isn't dilapidated, keep looking. Do not expect a hot water shower here. To turn some of the lights on and off you have to unplug them at the wall.
