We were there in February and had an excellent diner, maybe the best yet in Moraira. Service was also very good, nice atmosphere.

Price are very reasonable.

Just one remark: wine is, like in most restaurants in the area, served either by the glass or by the bottle. Na half bottles nor carafes.

Thank you for visiting our restaurant and for taking the time to write a review. We really pleased that you enjoyed your dinner with us so thank you for feeding back to us. Just a little note - our house wine is available by the half bottle if a customer would like that. It is no problem at all! We hope to see you again in the future

Have been to Moraira several times & visited at last after reading such good reviews. We realised as soon as we entered the restaurant that we would not be disappointed. It has a lovely ambience and the service is friendly, efficient & professional. The lunch was exceptional especially at the price of €16.95. My husband classed it as one of the best restaurant meals he has ever had. Unfortunately we return to England tomorrow so wished we had found it earlier but it will be our first port of call the next time we visit.

Thank Valerie G

We visited this restaurant after reading great reviews. the setting was lovely. The food however seemed really average compared to other place. The wine which was actually included in the menu was virtually undrinkable. We were really disappointed and have not tried it since.

The first thing we noticed when we entered the restaurant was how cold it was. With the exception of a "blower" heater over the entrance door, there did not appear to be any other form of heating which was switched on. We did comment on this but no additional heating was offered. So we kept our outside coats on - right throughout the meal.
The food was OK. One of the first courses which one of our party of four had, was goats cheese salad. It must of taken all of 2 minutes to prepare. Very ordinary and a poor choice for a cold November evening in cold restaurant. The other three members of our party had mushrooms on bruschetta with a poached egg. It was ordinary - like the goats cheese salad. One main course was confit of duck which was OK but flabby to taste with no crispy outer skin. One of the party had the Cod dish which was good. The others had a trio of pork which looked unappetising but they said "it was alright". For a sweet, two of us had tart tatin with ice cream, which was unmemorable. The service from the only waitress was both attentive and professional.
The house red was on the rough side of OK. The main thing we remember about the dining experience was how cold it was. Why would you want to go out to dinner in a restaurant and be so cold that you need to wear your outdoor coats? No thank you. We won't be rushing back.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our restaurant and also to write a review on tripadvisor. As you can see from previous reviews and management responses we take what we do very seriously and value feedback from our customers. While we are very disappointed that you did not enjoy your evening with us I wanted to comment on a few specific comments you made. We have 4 heaters in our restaurant and all of these are on every evening, you are the first customer to mention the cold and in fact we have been asked by customers to turn the heat down or off over the last few weeks. Customers/people who live locally in Spain are aware that this is the coldest time of year and the buildings are built for the sun with little in terms of insulation and often outside is warmer than inside so we do all we can to keep the place warm with all heaters on and candles to create a warm and cosy atmosphere.

The goats cheese starter you refer to, although does not take long to plate up the preparation takes quite some time as the cheese is broken down, marinated in orange zest and juice, fresh thyme and then rolled in toasted almond and praline crust before being reshaped and sliced ready for service. Your party may have also enjoyed the mushrooms (Wild mushrooms & pancetta on toast with poached egg & garlic butter) more if they had not asked for the soft poached eggs to be completely hard boiled which does not work with the dish. We have a large wine list so if you did not like the wine we would have been more than happy to change this for you had you mentioned it.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your visit with us, I know you said you will not be rushing back but we do hope that you will give us another go in the future as we do always try to please our customers. I will also pass on your comments about the excellent service to the waitress who looked after you.

We have been for a birthday dinner with a few friends and everything was just amazing. Even as the restaurant was completly full, we received an excelend, friendly service without beeing stressy. We chose from the menue and were suprised about the vatiety and 'special' combinations of food. You don't find that very often at the Costa Blanca.
