“Oven cooked chicken and food poisoning”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2012 via mobile

This restaurant was closest to our villa, so we decided to give it a go. Now I wish we hadn't. My 'fire cooked' chicken was obviously just oven cooked and was particularly bland, one of our party had the paella and ended up with food poisoning! And the bill came to €170 which was the most we'd spent in any restaurant in Moraira during our week there! There are better places to eat, so I recommend avoiding this one.

“Drive On”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2012

The best view of the Pollo Loco is from your rear view mirror! We waited so long in this busy reataurant that I grew a beard. The Hungarian family pack em in and you wait and wait and wait.
If you drive to the restaurant, my advice would be keep driving. There are 100's of eating joints on Moraira, don't waste your €'s on this one though! Sorry but that's how it goes

“Friendly Hosts and Great Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2012

We loved this restaurant, we stayed in Moraira just one week and ate here twice. The hosts are a Bulgarian family and cook Bulgarian and European cuisine with traditional Spanish too. You can read an English menu and choose many different dishes, some being cooked on the outside barbeque with chicken and steak being their specialities. We ate both and heartily enjoyed every morsel. They made their own breads and we were given different types on each visit, the lady had remembered us from the last visit and deliberately brought us a different type of flatbread with homemade salsa and aioli on our second visit, yummy! Their menu del dia is only 12.95 and great value with decent portions, all homemade too. We nearly didn't eat here, as we were the only ones in the restaurant on arrival, but so glad that we did and would recommend it to all. They gave us a complimentary liquor after the meal, which was a nice touch.

“Great Family experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2011

We are just back from two weeks staying in Moraira and to say that this restaurant was our first nights choice was so impressive that we revisited half way through our trip and made it our last night choice.
Not only is the food excellent, We were there with 7 Adults and 3 kids and there was not any unfinished plates.
But mainly the staff and owner made us feel very welcome and as the tables are spaced out very well you feel that you are having a nice family meal without feeling that you are impossing on any other patrons.
The Kids just loved the way the staff looked after them.

I will revisit this establishment if we go back to this region.

I loved this dish and would love the recipe. It was beans and bacon incredible.
I had this on the last time there and wish I could have gone back. If anyone could find or get the recipe..I have tried phoning. Wish I could go now.
