Was in D'gust on same night as last reviewer (17/6) and have eaten here many times. I have also eaten in many of the best restaurants around the world. So... I agree that the food and service is good... but there is no doubt in my mind that this is an overpriced establishment. There is also a snobbishness about the place. Many people come along who do not know the place and take its offers at face value so are are (quite reasonably) enticed by the offer of a set price menu i agree with some earlier reviewers who comment that once you are inside you will be handed the Carte and have to ask for the set price menu... then they are made to feel a bit of a cheapskate for doing so (have observed this several times). So come on Miguel... if you don't really want customers to choose this, then don't offer it! Or perhaps do so on a 'quiet night'. We all know this will disappear in late July anyway once you don't need to do it to get people through the door!
The white wine we had last night was about €29 and could be bought at the Bodega in Teulada for about €8. Reasonable? Not really when another good restaurant in town offers the exact same wine for about € 18 (still a good mark up)
In conclusion... the food is classy and the service is excellent... but it's too costly. I will only be going again when our guests are paying!
If I had to choose on the overall, balanced measure of 'value for money' I would go to Le Soleil where you can get the best fillet steaks you could wish for.
