“Still the best Italian in Moraira”
Reviewed October 11, 2013

Have been number of times over recent years and we still enjoy going back for more. The four cheese pizza was excellent as was my wife's pasta. Still enjoying the panacotta with fruits of the forest for desert.

“The best gnocchi I've had in ages!”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

My girlfriend and I visited this Italian restaurant twice during our 2 week stay in El Portet, we stumbled upon it by chance and were both extremely happy with the food and service.

On both occasions we hadn't booked, but due to arriving early on the first evening we were able to get a table for 2 inside the air conditioned restaurant (it was around 30 degrees still outside!), the interior being tastefully decorated in fresh colours and with large paintings of Mediterranean scenes on the walls.

The menu selection was large and catered for varied tastes, I had the gnochhi and was delighted with it!
3 courses, with a bottle of wine, a spirit chaser (grappa!) came to 60 euros in total, which when balanced against the friendly, professional service, and the quality of the food, seems a very reasonable amount.

I would recommend booking in advance, or arriving early, as it appeared a popular place to eat with tourists and locals alike.

“Nice family Italian”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

Visited here a couple of times whilst on holiday. Service was very good and food good too. We sat inside as nice and cool and away from the hustle and bustle on the street. Give it a try if you can.

“Best Italian restaurant in town”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

We have eaten here many many times over the years, most recently last week. The restaurant has been recently refurbished. We prefer to sit inside which is air-conditioned, although many customers prefer the outdoors tables.

The food is very high quality, with the pasta and pizzas made to order. My favourite meal is the cigala vol au vent, which comes with a whole large cigala prawn, followed by the meat and walnut ravioli, then if I have room (which isn't often) the sweet canoli. All authentic and delicious.

The staff are very friendly, and are happy to serve families as much as couples or groups of adults.

I am very surprised that this restaurant is only number 24 on the rankings, in my opinion it should be much higher than that.
