We absolutely loved our stay in Valtournenche at the Miramonti hotel. Rooms were beautiful and the facilities feel and look new. The staff is incredibly friendly. I have never put a review on trip advisor but my husband and I wanted to write something here after spending three nights at Miramonti. Valtournenche is also a lovely village!

These rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated, a decent size and there are lovely terraces to sit out on. We stayed here in September, where they were having an "indian summer" it was gorgeous. There was underground parking for our hire car, and the place was very quiet (dont think it was particularly busy, it isnt a popular time of year to be in Valtourneche, but I dont know why!) The few people we came across who checked us in/out were very friendly and tried hard to communicate with us.

The only downside was that I couldnt get the WIFI working, and due to my grasp of the Italian language being limited to greeting and a few numbers, I couldnt communicate this as English wasnt fluently spoken by any of the people we came across - not a complaint though, typical English expecting everyone else to speak our language!!

All in all a very economical way of staying in a very nice place!

We stayed here over 'Epifania' in 2011. The complex is new and we could almost still smell the fresh paint. The rooms are very clean, cosy and warm. We had a room with a small bathroom and a minibar, and a view on the backside. It was like a hotel room, not too big, but comfortable enough for a day after skiing. Very nicely decorated. There is a deposit for the skis, and we could park the car in the garage underneath the building. Good thing, because the comunal parking was a bit of a walk uphill. You can have a very nice breakfast for a few euros in the very cosy bar 'L'Ancien Paquier' nextdoor. The croissants there were fantastic! Unfortunately the sauna hadn't been installed yet, by the time we were there, but we went to the one with the local swimming pool for a special price. A bit concerned about the fact that the hallways are open, and if you would want to take a sauna downstairs you would have to pass through the cold from your room.
Alltogether good value for the comfortable room.
