I visited Arvidsjaur through Audi's Ice Experience program which includes an all expense paid trip to Arvidsjaur Sweden to drive Audi's four wheel drive sports cars. It was a fantastic trip and I could not have asked for anything more. But since my trip was all paid for I insisted on knowing the costs and quality of staying in a hotel if I came through my own expenses.
As far as the sights go I went in February which meant everything around was knee deep in snow. And by no means is that a bad thing. It was beautiful to see so much snow all around you from the comfort of your heated room. The rooms are good and have sufficient heating. Room service is an option which can be availed by paying extra charge. Which I ask to avoid since a walk every now and then would be advisable. Especially in Feb since you cant really step out so much because its a freezing -10 in the day and -20 in the night. And to me that is absolutely crazy because I am from India. Nearby attractions include a snowmobile ride experience from Polaris which is fantastic and absolutely recommended even for novice riders and do visit nearby restaurants which offer dishes which vary from Salmon to Elk.
Whichever your taste.
Oh and if you are not from Europe please request simple drinking water from the reception because you will be handed a bottle of soda unless you make it absolutely clear.
