I stayed there for 2 nights , well maintained hotel with spacious rooms with clean bathrooms and wide corridors. Good food.
I would say this is one of the best places to stay in Warangal. Value for money.

I visited this hotel with my husband and couple of friends ,as soon as we entered we wanted to leave. We got a welcome with very arrogant receptionist. They wanted Rs.2500 in advance for each room, when we objected they were adamant and said they informed us over call which was complete lie .They haven't informed us anything.
We were supposed to get complementary breakfast we ordered it at 10:30 and got the reply complementary breakfast only till 10:00 AM,they charge extra 5% for room service and there restaurant is so small that u have to wait for hours to get a place .Everything in this hotel is very costly, they want to extract money for everything.
The room ,bathroom was clean but nobody came for cleaning the next day. They just wanted us to leave and they have 24hrs of checkout time and they wont let you stay an hour extra.

My advice will be go to this hotel only if you are going for business trip (everything will be reimbursed) :)

Our overall experience of Hotel Landmark can be best described as mixed. I am not inclined to recommend this hotel to those who are planning to visit Warangal, but it did have certain points that went for as well as against it.

The Good

Overall – the hotel itself is quite new, and the general set-up is quite good.

Rooms - The biggest plus point in Hotel Landmark’s favour was the room we had. It was quite spacious and neat. There was a good-sized, comfortable bed, a television, an air conditioner, a dressing table, two chairs and a small table.

Except for a cigarette butt and a bottle cap that we found lying behind the entrance door, the room was otherwise rather clean. The bathroom was clean as well and the fittings were in good working order.

Food – We chose to have a vegetarian lunch and dinner, mainly because the prices are a little on the high side. The food was above average and not very oily. I’d give it 3 out of 5 stars. However, the tea that we ordered was bad, which is probably because they use some cheap brand to cut costs.

The Bad

Service – Hotel Landmark’s service was somewhat at par with a one-star hotel. It started with a bored and curt receptionist, who demanded INR 2000 in advance (the room rate is about INR 1570). We had of course not been told about this earlier.

Room Service – The extra 5% that is levied for room service seemed to be just an extra way to make money. The food arrived on time, but the staff seemed to want to avoid getting the bill on both occasions. It took three phone calls to goad them into finally getting it.

Breakfast Racket – Breakfast is “part” of the room rate. However, this includes only the South Indian breakfast, and not toast-butter-jam, which is odd because it isn’t exactly an expensive, exotic delicacy! The complimentary breakfast also does not include more than one tea or coffee per person. If you do order one more, you will be presented with a bill as if it the most natural thing in the world. You will of course not be told about either point until ‘necessary’.

Commotion – there was some sort of engagement or family function, and some of the attendees were staying in the hotel. Their revelry seemed to go on past midnight, despite a neat notice behind every room door prohibiting parties after 11 p.m.

The Average

The hotel has a travel desk. When we enquired about the rate of hiring a car to tour Warangal’s attractions, they quoted INR 1500. This is ridiculous mainly because Warangal is not exactly teeming with attractions.
Only the furthest one (Ramappa Temple) will result in a round trip of about 140 kilometres, and it was not included in the rental either. Needless to say, we used autorickshaws, and spent a little over INR 200.

The Verdict

Even though I knew that I could not expect high standards of service in a small place like Warangal, this hotel still managed to disappoint even those lowered expectations.

Before the trip, I was wondering whether to choose City Grand, Ratna, Ashoka or Landmark. I now wonder whether any of the other three would have been a better choice.
